    • Anyway, can't wait to stan a male jazz/ACM singer on Team Buble next season!   I'd also take an male alt rock singer on Team Gwen or a wildcard male artist on Team Snoop!   It's exhausting being TeamWaffle, my Lord.....
    • He really would slay that. I've seen comments about people wanting him to sing some gospel songs like Glory as well.
    • Eh, Madison trended towards generic after a while, kinda this easy-listening, pretty princess pop that was super polished. None of the rough and tumble qualities that made Gina or Chloe more distinct. The song choices were predictable and uninspired.    Josh on the other hand actually took the spirit of Caleb Johnson from 10 years ago, got an absolute moment and rocketed off to space while leaving Madison in the dust with "White Horse". If they wanted to sabotage him, they would have given him "Dark Horse". Truth is Josh is really a hard rocker in spirit (as is Stapleton, and Caleb Johnson), and he did that whole North Carolina rocker shindig that Johnson, Eric Church, Luke Combs also has. Good work.    As for Bryan Olesen, every church in America is paying attention to this guy, so he has such a long leash. The irony is that his best performance ever in the show came from...the trio performance? Dude is completely in his element doing that funky synthpop-fangled rock that dominated the 80s (the Cure), kinda like early to mid Maroon 5 (just like Maroon 5, Olesen's at his best fronting a band). He embraces the mayhem. Olesen literally has that whole hipster alt rock thing that dominated the early 2010s, and had a MV like that back in the late aughts. Unfortunately he's playing the game, but devolving into generic tripe because that's not true to him. But then again, his true self won't get votes either, so lose-lose.   Looks like Chance was wiped out before the top 5. They tried giving him a lifeline with Maddi at the final spot, but let's be honest, she was likely at the bottom two this week, her youtube fans have long evaporated, and can't care less about the show. Her voice is kinda tuneless at spots and/or a bit jarring to listen to, and her run was kinda uninspired. But give her credit for sticking to who she is, more or less, because starting with Escapism and then doing 'Greedy' means you aren't getting votes anyway.
    • I still think Nathan is running away with this season. His casual appeal is enormous and he's the most entertaining performer left. And he and Asher are way too different to be splitting votes.   Karen making it is impressive, but I think y'all are overestimating her chances a little. Country-only voters will have to choose between Josh and her, and we all know where their bias lies. 2nd is probably her ceiling, 3rd is probably more realistic.   I'm flip-flopping between Josh and Asher, my head tells me Josh will appeal more to Reba's fans but Asher has the potential to court votes from a wider demographic. One of them will get 2nd and the other will get 4th.
