Top 14 Perform/Top 12 Reveal Template Triston Harper - Heartbreak Hotel by Elvis Presley - 5.5 (vocals were fine, but it was really really cheesy) Julia Gagnon - Run To You by Whitney Houston - 7.5 (impressive, messy in parts) Roman Collins - You're All I Need to Get By by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell - 8.5 (I actually really liked this? the song is suitable for oversinging imo) Kaibrienne - I Hate Myself for Loving You by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts - 9.25 (ok she kinda slayed this) Jayna Elise - I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston - 9 (shouldn't have needed the WC!) Mia Matthews - Those Memories of You by Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt - 7 (it was fine, just didn't wow me) KAYKO - High and Dry by Radiohead - 4 (verses were fine, but the second half was not good) Emmy Russell - I Can’t Make You Love Me by Bonnie Raitt - 7.25 (it wasn't perfect but I actually thought her voice worked for this song and arrangement) Jordan Anthony - I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me) by Whitney Houston - 5 (had nice moments, just too off the rails in the upbeat part) McKenna Faith Breinholt - Hard to Say I’m Sorry by Chicago - 3 (I mean I know she was sick but oof) Jack Blocker - Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right by Bob Dylan - 6 (I feel like the rasp in his voice is a little forced/not natural sounding and he used it a lot) Nya - I Say A Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin - 7.5 (this wasn't going to change anyone's mind about her, but I enjoyed it) Will Moseley - Night Moves by Bob Seger - 7 (I liked this more than I thought I would?) Abi Carter - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John - 10 (periodt)

Those ratings are really low and I thought I was a harsh grader Then again everyone uses the scale differently (i.e. they could have 9=A, 8=B and so on or they could have 5 being average) so I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Also I do think some people do too much with it but if you really have that much of a problem with people here preferring female artists, then maybe this isn’t the site for you lol

I honestly don’t pay attention to Reddit or instagram or other communities, I just didn’t like Kayko lol (the first half of his Radiohead performance was nice though and I agree he’s cute )

Playoffs - Episode 1 Nathan Chester - Oh! I think the PO was more vocally impressive but I connected with her KO more

I haven't seen the shows yet but I like having wildcards? Even if they get eliminated the next weeks it's a chance for the judges to get a final say and those people get 1 or 2 more performances.
