    • Truth be told, I can't even totally disagree with the overabundance of country singers. I just went over my whole season's worth of performance to determine who would be in my top 5, CSAB style. And the only difference is that I've got Kaibrienne still alive after one week of holdover performances in place of Jack Blocker who failed to make it out of Top 20 (which actually kind of disappointed me because I legit liked his Top 14, Top 12, and Top 10 performances). And the only two who have never been in danger are Emmy and Triston. Like legit, when I looked at the Top 12 results, I was like oh my God that was too close. Because I only have the whole numbers that I gave out for real performances, but holdover performances go into decimal points. And Ajii's second projected rating was a 63.99, on a night that I gave Abi a 64 (her weakest performance by a mile; Top 24 is the only other time she's even been below 90 and that was an 86). Meanwhile, I initially thought that my laziness in just plugging the holdover contestants into the duets/quads meant that thanks to her ability to use her Wild Card performance for her first projected rating, Nya had knocked out Will Moseley in Top 8, only to realize that because she'd been plugged into McKenna's spot and not Jack's, her rating was 80% solo and 20% quartet while Will's was 67% solo, 33% duet, so even with the worst solo, Will had edged her out...until I remembered that there was only one elimination that night, not two, and it was obvious from the start that Odell Bunton Jr. was in 8th place; the confusion was who was in 6th and who was in 7th.   Basing rankings for multiple eliminations on the ratings for the elimination nights:   6. Julia Gagnon (IRL: Top 7) 7. Nya (IRL: Top 14) 8. Odell Bunton Jr. (IRL: Top 20) 9.  Mia Matthews (IRL: Top 10) 10. Quintavious (IRL: Top 20) 11. Ajii (IRL: Top 20) 12. Mackenzie Sol (IRL: Top 20) 13. Jayna Elise (IRL: Top 12) 14. McKenna Faith Breinholt (IRL: Top 7) 15. Jennifer Jeffries (IRL: Top 20) 16. Jack Blocker (IRL: Top 5) 17. Hailey Mia (IRL: Top 24) 18. Kennedy Reid (IRL: Top 20) 19. Roman Collins (IRL: Top 12) 20. Jordan Anthony (IRL: Top 14) 21. Blake Proehl (IRL: Top 24) 22. KAYKO (IRL: Top 10) 23. Elleigh Marie (IRL: Top 24) 24. KBlocks (IRL: Top 24)   ...Oh, right, the knife of projected performances cut both ways. If I'd rated any of Mackenzie's performances a point lower, Jayna would've survived to Top 12 in my ratings, and would've had a hell of a first projected rating to use since I had her advancing directly to Top 14 and she put up a magnificent performance on wild card night. Wait...that doesn't look right...huh? Mackenzie's first projected rating should've been 57.9, not 58.9. Jayna did survive! ...Oh shit. That's not a good thing after all. Replacing Mackenzie's second projected rating with Jayna's very real 85 means...Abi doesn't make it out of Top 12 after all.   Let's try that again...   6. Jayna Elise (IRL: Top 12) 7. Nya (IRL: Top 14) 8. Odell Bunton Jr. (IRL: Top 20) 9.  Mia Matthews (IRL: Top 10) 10. Quintavious (IRL: Top 20) 11. Abi Carter (IRL: Top 5) 12. Ajii (IRL: Top 20) 13. Mackenzie Sol (IRL: Top 20) 14. McKenna Faith Breinholt (IRL: Top 7) 15. Jennifer Jeffries (IRL: Top 20) 16. Jack Blocker (IRL: Top 5) 17. Hailey Mia (IRL: Top 24) 18. Kennedy Reid (IRL: Top 20) 19. Roman Collins (IRL: Top 12) 20. Jordan Anthony (IRL: Top 14) 21. Blake Proehl (IRL: Top 24) 22. KAYKO (IRL: Top 10) 23. Elleigh Marie (IRL: Top 24) 24. KBlocks (IRL: Top 24)   If Julia's Wild Card Night performance hadn't already been one of her weaker ones, she might stand a chance at making the projected finale. Like legit, her second song next week (based off the decay rate on her average) will outscore her first (based on her unused rating). Of course, it's still mathematically impossible for there not to be a real contestant in the projected finale so...yeah. Wow, this sucks.   ...Anyway, my main takeaway is that the judges sucked at choosing saves. Forget the whole bit about last week because McKenna's been up and down; the week I had her first knocked out was when she was sick but she would've been knocked out all over in Top 10 I'm sure. But they picked Roman over Odell for the "male gospel singer" slot and Jordan over Mackenzie for the "British/Australian male pop vocalist". Those were awful decisions. And Odell was one of the Platinum Ticket winners!
    • i thought minivan had liked that performance since from the “voting banners” it ended up being the most liked of the night. but now that the videos have been posted it’s not doing that well so idk.
    • She should have been in the top 5. 😐
    • Top 7 Perform/Top 5 Reveal Template Jack Blocker - Long Tall Sally by Little Richard- 7.5.  The song fit him well and he was one of the better performers. Julia Gagnon - Roam by The B-52’s - 7.5.  Probably her worst performance, sad to say. Abi Carter - My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up) - 8.5.  Not her best performance, but it didn’t matter. McKenna Faith Breinholt - E.T. by Katy Perry - 8.  Very good but the song choice wasn’t good. Will Moseley - Gimme Three Steps by Lynyrd Skynyrd - 8.  His best performance. Emmy Russell - Shut Up and Dance by Walk the Moon - 7.  Good but she didn’t even move around the stage. Triston Harper - T-R-O-U-B-L-E by Travis Tritt - 6.5.  The weakest singer left. McKenna Faith Breinholt - Make You Feel My Love by Adele - 8.5.  At least she went out on a high note. Jack Blocker - One and Only by Adele - 8.  His best performance. Will Moseley - Rolling in the Deep by Adele - 7.  His first performance was better. Julia Gagnon - Set Fire to the Rain by Adele - 8.5.  Better but too late. Emmy Russell - Water Under the Bridge by Adele - 7.5.  This wasn’t a great week for her. Triston Harper - Easy On Me by Adele - 5.  He’s reached his limits. Abi Carter - Hello by Adele - 9.5.  Best song of the night.
    • a producer must be telling him to push that route or something ... I really think this kid should have waited another 2-3 years before auditioning
