The song/arrangement didn't allow her to go anywhere, and I don't think her tone here was enough to save her. Someone thinks it’s a winner because they are choosing to leave it in. If they didn’t want to push the “Kelly talks ALL the time” narrative, the show would be edited much differently. Contestants need that sort of hype man, and she gives it up for everyone, including people that are not on her team. But yeah, the banter with Blake is getting old. It used to pretty much be clever exchanges at first, but now its just constant bickering. As everyone has pointed out, just look at Lana's audition. Minivan is clearly getting tired of it, too. The whole comment section on FB of Lana's audition video consists of them criticizing the coaches banter. Either way, that's not gonna stop me from continuing to watch the show, but I'd like it if Kelly and Blake go back to their old dynamic. I mean John was snarkier last season cause he had the upper hand over Jonas but he's bland as hell this season.
