Best Instant Save Performance Of Season 21

Thought id make this thread since instant saves are over. And something to talk about before finale night. This season had some really good instant save performances, some of the best in recent memory. Which one do you think was the best?

 

My top 5 this season

1. Hailey Mia - Jar Of Hearts

Not perfect vocally, but great emotional delivery

 

2. Jershika Maple - What is love

This was a moment. Great song choice. Possibly the best vocal of the instant saves.

 

3. Gymani - Tell me something good

Powerful performance, went all out on this one, and apparently I'm the only one who liked this song choice for her.

 

4. Gymani - Sweet love

Also in contention for best instant save vocal. I just didn't like the scatting for this particular song

 

5. Jershika Maple - Break Every chain.

Very shaky in the beginning, but the end might be the most powerful vocals of this season.

I can't persuade someone's ears to dislike anything, so dw about me. Miss Dion would love if you streamed "Ashes" and "My Heart Will Go On" though.  

 

Both great songs that Joshua has taste for liking.

HMs to Samuel and Vaughn’s as well, tbh (Samuel sounded okay but flubbed the lyrics at one point + Vaughn’s was fine but I was comparing it to Cam’s version the entire time).

My feelings are mixed. I don't really like the original song. Purely strategy-wise, I thought it was a horrible song choice. But I also thought he did extremely well with it on a vocal level.

 

As for my own vote, this was tough! But I went with Gymani's "Sweet Love." That's a TOUGH song with a ton of subtleties and intricate parts, and she killed it.

 

Jershika's "What Is Love" and "Break Every Chain" were both really powerful vocal moments, though. And "Jar of Hearts" was just gorgeous.

“Jar of Hearts”  Immediately vaulted Hailey to contender status, so that’s at the top of the list for me.  Both of Jershika’s were good too.

Imo Jershika’s What Is Love is prob the best IS performance in the voice history along with Kat Perkins If I Was In Paris.
