    • If that happened in the NBA, the player would have probably been ejected, suspended or both. She didn’t even get called for a technical.    I’ll be honest, I think women’s basketball is almost unwatchable. Up until this year, I wouldn’t have been able to name more than a couple WNBA players to save my life, and they aren’t giving me any reason to watch it now with this stuff.
    • here's a post-season interview with Showrunner Megan Michaels Wolflick. summary below of important info.  - she thinks it's exciting that both a girl and Platinum Ticket winner won. she's more excited now than she has ever been about the show and says there could be lot of momentum gained after this.  - she indirectly dragged The Voice multiple times: "it's [Idol] a show about the finalists, it's not a show about celebrities." she said that the new judge isn't going to change this.  - she thinks that Katy may come back to the show in the future, but is excited that a new era is beginning. - the new judge is not finalized but news is coming "soon"  - Idol was once again the #1 most social entertainment series on television this season. - fun fact: Jack and Julia were among the last 3 auditions of the season during filming - she called McKenna's audition the "Iam Moment" of this year. - she think the Idol Arena format worked and wants to do it again

    • Me just grabbing all of The Voice and then some on the bottom of lists! who knew!
    • D. SMOOTH THE VOICE - SEASON 23 || 3RD PLACE     David Mitchell, also known as D. Smooth, is a 25-year-old singer from Alabama who competed on the 23rd season of The Voice. He auditioned with Ed Sheeran's "Perfect," which, while not overly impressive and a bit rough in spots, was good enough to get Kelly Clarkson to turn her chair, after some encouragement from Chance the Rapper, as well as Niall Horan. He ultimately chose Kelly as his coach. During the battle round, he was paired with ALI to perform Allen Stone's "Unaware". Their harmonies were great, though ALI had the edge for me. Just as he was about to leave, Chance stole him, only for Kelly to use her Playoff Pass to keep him on her team, whatever that twist is.  For the playoff, he performed Khalid's "Location", which suited him much better than his first two songs and my favourite of his performances from what I've heard, so far. It secured him a spot in the Top 8, where he sang another overdone Ed Sheeran song, "Thinking Out Loud" - I've heard better versions, and I wish people would stop singing this song on singing competitions. Despite this, he made it to the finale which was a Top 5 finale. In the finale, he performed "What You Won't Do For Love", "My My My", and "Slow Dancing in the Dark" with Kelly Clarkson - I personally felt Kelly overshadowed him a bit too much in their duet . Overall, these performances were just fine for me, and the public seemed to agree, as he finished in 3rd place. While there's no denying that he is talented, he's not someone I’d seek out to listen to, and I doubt I'll remember any of his performances a year from now, so I'm fine with him getting cut from the rankdown.   SAVING: HISAM GOUELI
