Also, the phrase “he beat TWO FOUR-CHAIR TURNSSSS” is being thrown around too much now. But there were parts where i feel like she was struggling, like, the song was a little too big for her. It was still a great audition, tho. Truth be told, regarding battles, it's more about other aspects than pure vocal ability. NOIVAS had one of the rawest BAs in recent memory (for me in a good way), and Jealous Guy is a raw song that tackles a subject in a similar manner, and I'll think NOIVAS's roughness would showcase that well more than Ray's smoothness.
