    • okay, so these clues might've been a little tough, and that's ok! i've gone ahead and revised/clarified all of the ones that remain since only 162 has been guessed correctly; here are the new hints!   165. This contestant could've been a dark horse, or they could've even been a frontrunner. Shame they kept seeking out all the wrong opportunities.   164. Sorry, just clarifying, how far from (the capital of) New Mexico are we talking?  163. Biggest opps: Gaines and Noel. Second biggest opp: Ed Sheeran.  161. Okay, okay, okay! I get it!... Still not sure what all the fanfare was for, though.  160. Adding punctuation to this contestant's name can turn it into a sentence! ... Just not necessarily their stage name.    @FloorWax @Someone648 @thevoiceisthetop @Adam Bruce @Dai @TyDSC do your worst (:<
    • it doesn't necessarily have to be a song about Chicago lol. she can talk about being from Chicago in the package and then pick a completely unrelated song by saying something like: "this is a song i used to sing driving around in my car and it brings me back!" or "this was my favorite song to sing at our family parties"
    • Man, missed a ton, but I remember saying that when Dan + Shay joined some dude was gonna do "19 You+Meeeeeee". Hilarious how that came to happen. Tae Lewis being the dude to do Abercrombie+Fitch era Dan+Shay actually makes a ton of sense. Dude is so steeped in early 2013 bro-country, and that song has a lot of those signifiers. He's got that Jimmie Allen lilt, but I doubt the core audience would be enamored by Tae "watching that blonde hair swing".    I strongly believe Josh Sanders suffers from the same problem of doing way too much current bro-country stuff, with sensibilities different from what the core audience grew up on. He's certainly not getting the bros to vote for him on this show. Aside from the Doobie Brothers Dixieland song that the spoiler website couldn't identify directly, his songs are super current. If the audience doesn't even have the song register, as likely was the case with "Whiskey On You", "Wild As Her", and the Thomas Rhett joint, it likely doesn't matter. The guy also just seems as bland as wallpaper, at least performance-wise and voice-wise. Definition of generic. The guy kinda looks and reminds of James David Carter, another early country boot from yesteryear on the Voice.
