For what it's worth, I guarantee you that is not the case. She really is a humble and kind person who cares deeply for the other performers. She legit is just a girl who was playing on the streets of Indio a year ago with 200 followers and is doing the craziest thing now. She is choosing songs that she personally connects with and some have landed better than others, but I guess that's part of the process of figuring out what type of performer she wants to be.

I just don't understand. I know I am new here and personally biased toward Abi, but I just don't get the hatred. You can like her vocally or not, but it is not her fault what the producers put out about her and it is not her fault what they don't put out about other people. She really liked Roman and Jayna and was astounded by their talent. She never said anything but positive comments about them. I am sure she is sad they were voted off too because she got to know them personally and respected them, but none of this is her fault so why does she get targeted? I just don't understand.

Let's be real, you have never really come off as a fan of Abi's, but you are definitely grasping at straws here. Whether you personally like the quality of her voice or not, she was obviously making a point that she lacked exposure as a child to that type of music because of her family's beliefs at the time. Considering she has covered multiple songs from all different genres including My Chem Romance she clearly does not think that way herself. It seemed to me that she got along wonderfully with Gene.

Thank you for sharing this! I am sure it is frustrating for any family to have half-truths pushed as complete fact and the most difficult and complicated times in your life being picked apart by people who don't know you at all. I try to keep this in mind with all the contestants. These are real people who are going through an incredible journey right now, they are not superhuman. We all make mistakes, but thankfully mine aren't magnified. And I know that in some ways that is what they signed up for, but it doesn't make it any easier!
