Allegra is very talented but I think we need to stop making excuses that she was on the Covid season of The Voice or she didn’t get much airtime on American Idol. I get your point but she was never gonna win against him, they pimped the hell out of him, she had literally no chance. There’s only one winner at the end, anyway. I wish Allegra all the best. I just don’t think these shows where the public (which consists of a lot of people who just aren’t fans of her type of music/style of singing) get to vote are right for her. If music industry expert judges got to choose, she’d probably go quite far on both Idol and The Voice. At the end of the day, she got to perform an original song live for millions of people to hear - something she wouldn’t have been able to do on The Voice. I think she’ll be happy with that. I agree, they did vote 6 girls and 4 guys just last round, and 3 girls could've very well went home tonight instead of 2-1. America's being fairly behaved in terms of voting gender wise this season compared to previous ones. Now whether they've voted in the right girls is a different story. But how many of those guys actually deserved to be voted in? 1 maybe 2? If the talent was actually equal the voting disparity would be so much more noticeable. Gurl if you'd been here for the past 3 seasons the bar is at the floor this season is doing wayyy better than those.
