Best Performance for me is Toneisha/Thunderstorm.

 

Worst Performance is Allegra (?). I just think it is not the right song choice for her.

The night was iffy overall.

 

1A. Doja Cat - 'nuff said.

1B. Todd Tilghman - This was so cheesy with the kids there but was well done. Not my favorite performance of his, but will absolutely be enough to get him through and I'm looking forward to seeing what he does in the finale.

2. Thunderstorm Artis - He's clearly one of the best this season and while this performance in particular was mostly unexciting for me, he'll be just fine moving forward.

3. Toneisha Harris - Moon River's a tough song and I think she did very well.

4. Micah Iverson - I appreciate the song choice, but it's risky and not sure to get him a lot of votes. He deserves PV over Megan, however.

5. CammWess - Higher expectations from Rainbow. I genuinely do not see why people continue to push this guy through as John's main contender...

6. Zan Fiskum - ZAN SWEETIE I'M SO SORRY THEY DID THIS TO YOU. Dreadful song, but she made it tolerable by removing what made it annoying. Weakest performance from her by far, but she did the best she could.

7. Joanna Serenko - Victim of a bad song choice. Last week was the time for Bill Withers, not now. Not a bad vocal, but it's not gonna keep her safe at all.

8. Megan Danielle - She went back to doing what she sounds best with, but it still wasn't very good.

9. Allegra Miles - Uninteresting and bland. Not great from her.

I've gotta disagree here. What's pandery with the song he chose?

A beloved song that many people connect to isn't necessarily pandering unless the song is overwhelmingly pandering to something (as is God Bless the USA)
