I like her but i find it funny that all the hype that the producers built over her (affecting other contestants in the process) was for nothing. A Fritz or Noah win is almost even more certain now though. If they don't change up the groups which seems likely this does tremendously help Allegra's chances of making the top 14 because all she has to do is avoid being the lowest voted person now instead of being the lowest two. It isn't far fetched if you think about it. It sounds like she was in a similar situation as Benson Boone. His exit was also vague. Idol likely kept it that way. *Wallace Posted April 5, 2022 Share Posted April 5, 2022 Hmmm yeah I'm sad and disappointed in the news as I did really like Kenedi and was looking forward to her. I know contestants on the ABC version do better having some exposure and not really going through the whole live shows aspect of the show these days (Benson being an example, as well as Lauren Spencer Smith - though she was a semi-finalist boot). So yeah this is probably a better move for her career post-show, so hopefully she does have a record deal lined up for her. I do wish her all the best. The whole Benson encouraging her to drop out bit doesn't sit well with me but alas, it is what it is. But this does change the total aspect of the competition and will be interesting how this changes things and frontrunners. So it will be interesting seeing how this all plays out.
