Ballad: "Blowin' in the Wind" or "The Sound of Silence" or "Burning House", I really think they should stick with something familiar with the audience especially these songs have been sang before on the show.

Upbeat: "The Chain" or "Little White Church", but I probably much prefer "The Chain" on this one.

 

Hailey Mia

Ballad: "You Say", this would channel her inner Carter in especially Carter inspired her to audition or "Piece by Piece", as another tribute to Kelly as her coach and at the same time it is emotional that would possibly make Kelly tear up. 

 

Upbeat: idrk, but I guess something pop like "Adore You", I just don't know HAHAHA but I guess this would fit her, I just don't know how the audience will react.

 

Paris Winningham

Ballad: "A Song for You" - I just feel it fits?

Upbeat: "Try A Little Tenderness" - The rasp would really fit this one

 

Wendy Moten

Ballad: "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"? 

Upbeat: "Express Yourself"? 

 

Jershika Maple

Ballad: "Un-break My Heart", Jershika's low notes really fit this one

Upbeat: "Preach", I just don't know how John would react with this one but it is a really good fit like what Rose of S17 did.

For Girl Named Tom, The Chain and Blowing in the Wind would be an ideal combination. Burning House would be another good choice for ballad.

 

For Jershika Maple, Unbreak My Heart would be a great choice for her, since it really fits her voice.

 

For Paris Winningham, Try a Little Tenderness would be great because of his rasp and energy. A lot of ballads could work for him though.

 

I can’t really think of songs for Hailey and Wendy

Hailey - Hailey is very young, so trying to be mindful of content is difficult. I say No Tears Left to Cry just for Ari 

Jershika - Respect/Gimme Shelter (we share here ok)

 

Slow songs:

 

Wendy - Hallelujah (but really A Natural Woman or any Ballad. Just give us a ballad please :camera:)

Paris - In the air tonight (idk if either of Paris' fit the criteria but idc im using them anyway)

Hailey - No Time To Die 

Jershika - An emeli sande song or Speak the Name by Koryn Hawthorne

Agree. Folks say its been done too often but I like it.

 

If he doesn't, maybe Otis's Hard to Handle for the fast song. With the Voice band, it'd probably come out as a cross between Otis and Black Crowes, which might not be a bad thing.

Ballad: This is hard cause she can sing the phonebook even the trashy song choices works for her too. Maybe The Rose by Bette Midler. I love the song even for her and would slay it. The Greatest Love Of All would also be an excellent song for her too along with Purple Rain. Give her any ballad song and I'll love it.

Upbeat: I don't even know but every single upbeat songs would work perfectly for her. Heck give her Dream On and she would sing the crap out of it.
