My 1st was Marybeth, but Rose killed every round! A queen

I wasn't a fan of S14-16 (which I consider the show's darkest era ) so this one was a pleasant surprise for me.

 

- You could argue this season was Rose, Katie and Ricky + everyone else. Having three contestants as consistently good as them who were also really different from each other is really rare. These three really carried the season for me.

- Hoot is in my B3 of the Voice winners, but he isn't too bad and I don't really care about who wins anyways (it would be nice if Kelly could win with someone I actually cared about though, lmao)

- Some people really overstayed their welcome (Shane, HS, Kat...) but overall the cast was solid, far better than the last three.

- The taped rounds were top-notch, specially the blinds.

- The playoffs were actually tolerable (yay)

- 8/10 probably. Would've been 9 if the people in the Top 13 were more consistent. Thankfully, everyone who made the finals falls into that category. Queen Rose Short was my favorite, and possibly my favorite of her kind of singer ever on the show.

A 9/10 from me, the highest I´ve given a season so far.

 

I geniuenly enjoyed watching it live, there were a lot of people I enjoyed, and the finale was composed of 4 deserving people.

 

Ricky was my favorite, and is very high on my all time list. I loved his run on the show, and he has compelled me enough for me to follow him after the show. Loved Katie too.

One of my favorite seasons, I enjoyed a lot of people even the ones eliminated in battles and KO. Some definitely overstayed and didn’t deserve their spots in the Top 13 but Rose, Katie and Ricky carried the live shows. Rose was my pick for the win but well we’ve been this road before.
