01. Makayla - She showed everyone else up. Best performance of the season so far. Nothing else has come close.

02. Aliana - She’s such a strong vocalist and I want her to come back.

03. Olivia - I’ve always liked Olivia and her performance tonight was fantastic. She brings something to the competition that’s been missing for years.

04. Arthur - Love his voice and he chose a great song.

05. DeWayne - Another great performance. Deshawn is probably the most reliable and singer technically so I don’t see him advancing. Both are too similar vocally.

06. Cyniah - This was giving me life.

07. Nick - I liked his song. I’m glad he didn’t just do something predictable. The vocals were lacking though.

08. Franklin - his voice is so thin.

09. Faith - just no.

10. Louis - I see that he’s still singing with that fake, affected accent. His annunciation irritates me.

I was surprised that DeWayne actually did really well even though I felt a little awkward listening a song praising JESUS, whatever it's a great song choice for him anyway. Unfortunately, playing Jesus card can't beat Arthur who is most likely 90% to make it, he didn't even have to perform.

 

The only one can give Arthur a run for his money is Louis, he sang very well with his own emotional original song. Louis and Ava should be in the top 10 and this season could be muck better.

Here’s my rankings of the returning contestants from last season:

 

1.  Olivia — I thought that she’d put on a show and she sure did!
2.  Makayla — vocally, she’s the best of the girls.
3.  Louis — best of the guys.
4.  Aliana — much improved from last season!  Sadly, it’s not enough.
5.  DeWayne — much better song choice!  Sadly not good enough.
6.  Faith — better than last season but not good enough to get in the Top 10.
7.  Cyniah — fun way to begin the show but not good enough.
8.  Nick — better than last season but nowhere near good enough.
9.  Franklin — I preferred it when he was singing coffee house songs.

10.  Arthur — his voice is even more irritating on this song.
