I'd like someone to do Lovin' You and really hit the whistle really well (like Leah McFall did in her reprise performance at the finale). Toneisha did better than expected with the song (I was scared she'd just flop), but she didn't kill it like Leah did. I'm hoping to see that in the next few seasons.

Kelsea Ballerini and Halsey's "The Other Girl," would be a good one to do, but as it's a duet, it would be better fit for a Battle song.  Hopefully, by two females in their twenties, thirties, or older.  Not two teen girls.  Sound sounds a bit too suggestive and mature for girls in that age group.

George Strait has such a great catalog of music to choose from.  It's a shame there have been so few guys who could even dream of pulling off one of his songs.

Marina Del Rey

Nobody in His Right Mind

The Cowboy Rides Away

The Chair

Cheyenne

If I Know Me

Never Gonna Let You Go

Carrying Your Love With Me

Would all be good for the show, just to name a few.

Has anyone done "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" on the show? I feel like that could be an interesting choice for a rocker-type.

It has a good chance to pale in comparison to the original honestly, unless the person that sings it really brings the angst that the song needs.

Here's some more

Harden my Heart- (it would be cool if the singer showed off his/her sax skills on that song)

Time of your life

Any Bowie song.

Crazy little thing called love

Head over feet

Zach Seabaugh covered it during top 10 week back in Season 9.

Sugarland - "Stay"

I feel like this could be a "moment" for a big-voiced country female...and we have one of those this season.

Kristen Merlin already sang it on the show in Season 6 and it was beautiful (At least, the part we were able to hear was beautiful)

The worst one was Corey Kent White flubbing the lyrics to “Unwound,” and Blake getting offended and calling him out on national TV for messing up a George Strait song. The next week, he got a Bad English  song, and went bye-bye. It’s probably best to steer clear, unless they’re certain they can kill it.

Ah...thanks.  I wasn't watching the show then.

Yes I agree.  It will always be a gamble.  Just a shame that so many great songs from him are left undone on the show.

Has anyone done "He Stopped Loving Her Today" by George Jones on the show? That could pretty much win the show for a country artist if he/she does it well.

Wasn't that the song Cody Wickline auditioned with? I remembered him being an early frontrunner but he didn't make lives.
