The Voice Season 17 iTunes Tracking

That could certainly happen but the people in the middle are separated by only a couple of purchases so it doesn't mean much.

None of them have meaningful numbers, top charters included. It's just stats. And we also know itunes stats aren't that reliable.

Marybeth deserved better in the chartings(LYTLM), and especially the votes. Like wtf with most of the flops getting ahead of her?

It was bound to fail, not many people will go out there way do buy Marybeth’s version when the original just came out and most of Marybeth’s audience already has the original. That’s why doing current songs are bad on singing shows

Meh, it would show support for the artists, but I suppose you are right.

I liked her performance more than some of the others too, but it just means she flopped more than the flops you’re referring to in some way, whether it was song choice, or whatever. For some reason, the audience just hasn’t taken to her. There isn’t always an obvious answer to these questions.

The problem I think is one that's been discussed here. Marybeth has no real musical identity to which the fans can relate. She came in as country, but has been doing pop almost obsessively, which may have been confusing the fans. And honestly, John's been of no help, keeping her in the pop lane instead of pushing her back to country, which would still have her ahead of several others by now if she did go back to it.

Which is what makes me cry, Blake would have taken care of her by keeping her in the country lane. John is obviously bussing her for Katie and Will.

Katie, I get. Will, I do not.

Seriously, though. There's no bussing. Marybeth has outright said that she wants to do pop way more than she wants to do country. John's technically just letting her do what she wants.

I think you’re on to something. That theory sounds as good as any.
