OK, redoing my rankings. I keep replaying one audition and I had to give it props.

It literally takes only ONE moment

9. Claudia B

Could have done with a better song choice

8. Stee

That was higher pitched than I expected

7. Talakai

Pleasant surprise!

6. Noah Spencer

Not my favorite version of the song, but undeniably great.

5. Chechi Sarai

I am ranking him out of protest for that TERRIBLE edit

4. Tom Nitti

Beautiful tone!

3. Reid Zingale

I keep replaying this TBH

2. RUDI

We stan subtle RnB singers!

1. Mac Royals

If this doesn't prove how objective I've been in my rankings, I don't know what else will.

It's not objective cause Chechi isn't number 1. (Jk)

You are. I expected Reid, Mac, Tom, and Noah to be in your top 4. I know you respect Mac types of singers, so it was expected... But RUDI was a pleasant surprise!

Genuinely great auditions

1. Chechi

2. Noah - Crazy I know. Probably my favorite audition from a country male since Kameron’s (which was 9 seasons ago already, jfc)

Really solid

3. RUDI - Some of the runs were unneeded but I thought that was a very strong vocal. Props.

4. Reid - I was unsure at first but it picked up towards the end, the rasp when he went for the higher notes was nice. Bonus points for the fresh song choice.

Ok

5. Mac - Pleasant tone and he started strong but after the first 20 seconds or so I was out of it. Needed a bit more energy imo

Ehhh

6. Stee - I guess it was technically fine? I just can’t stand the song and listening to it in 2023 is bizarre (it feels so dated)

7. Talakai - Truly one of the auditions of all time.

Nope

8. Claudia - An attempt was made.

Episode was a B. Not excellent, but better than last week´s offerings.

Fantastic control, and vibrato for days. Hope she doesn´t overrely on the whistle, because she has more tools in her arsenal.

1. Chechi

Needs to dial it back with the pushing of the rasp, but otherwise, his tone is killer, love the darkness in it, great rendition.

2. Noah

Tone carried, but it did so effectively.

3. Reid

Clearly a killer singer, wish there was a bit more substance though, he´s holding back.

4. Mac

Skills for days, but needed way more anger to cover that song, it felt a bit flat.

5. RUDI

Don´t have any complaints vocally, but this just felt very by-the-numbers

6. Talakai

Good runs, but song choice did him 0 favors, and he struggled in Adam Levine´s only saving grace: falsetto.

7. Stee

What the hell was that song choice, ma"am? Underneath lies a pretty tone, but this was a mess.

8. Claudia
