Even if TPTB ends half-assing this thing, lets have some fun. Suggest some songs for the Top 10 keeping in mind they have to be outside of their music genres.

I will suggest songs for some not all contestants become I am lazy to think too much at the moment , Hailey has a lot because It was easy to think if these for her.

 

Team Kelly:

 

GNT:Dreams or the Chain by Fleetwood Mac

 

Hailey Mia: If I die young by the band perry or Rainbow or space cowboy by Kacey Musgraves or I hope you dance by Lee Ann Womack or Go rest high up that mountain by Vince hill or You Say by Lauren Daigle 


Jeremy Rosado:  I Can only imagine by mercyme or My mind by YEBBA.

 

Team Ari:

 

Holly : New York State of mind by Billy Joel 

 

Team Blake :
 

Wendy : Go rest high up that mountain by Vince hill or I need you  By tim McGraw and faith hill

Some good choices there. I like Go Rest High on That Mountain for Wendy a lot, and Rainbow or You Say for Hailey. I’d probably steer clear of the Chevel songs, honestly.

Frankly, if they give Hailey something country (I would steer away from modern), the gap between her and GNT could become very tight.

Also begging for them to let Wendy sing country.

Jim and Sasha can do R and B. How bout Careless Whispers by Wham. The song might be too rangey but Minivan will love it and Jim can bring out the sax. IDF will pleased as punch when they squeak by another week.

 

If Jeremy is bilingual he can sing in Spanish. If not how about some pop rock. I think he would song really good on Rob Thomas

 

For Wendy how about country. FAith Hill when the lights go down?

Yeah I was questioning what would actually feel like a challenge for them each:

GNT - something modern and slightly more edgy

Hailey - something that isn’t contemporary pop

Jeremy - he’s done a bit of everything but hasn’t touched a rock ballad

Jershika - idk country just feels right

Joshua - Lewis is definitely different than him vocally and should be fun to hear

Holly - something upbeat and fierce; Alone was a step in the right direction but too ballad-y

Jim and Sasha - something more upbeat and probably an opportunity to let Jim shine more

Wendy - something more classic rock instead of soul/R&B (or country)

Lana - a nice flip opportunity and I love the song tbh

Paris - modern R&B instead of classic R&B
