I feel that it makes the results way more predictable, and the only suspense is the Instant Save, which isn’t really suspenseful because it is always a Team Blake artist. I also liked how not every contestant sang for the save, so we could see who got in the middle in votes. Most seasons would have surprise results somewhere, and I really miss that. I don’t like how they compete only against the team. Also, what if one team is much weaker than the others? I also hate 5 person finales because I believe that it is too many contestants for a finale. plus we don’t get nonfinalist/group performances with coach duets on results night. Especially in the older seasons, there were a lot of group performances from contestants eliminated before the finale, including bringback performances. This particular T17 was one where I enjoyed most contestants eliminated before finale, so I would have loved to see Corey, Dana, Gihanna, Anna, Ryleigh, Pia, Zae, Zania, etc make finale appearances.
