Daillon 1,680
Not an expert on this topic, but the people who stand out to me as the best vocalists are Tessanne, Kimberly and Kyla. Alisan, Josh and Jordan are also great.
Misirlou 2,750
There´s obviously not a definitive answer for this, but I personally would have to say maybe Jordan Smith.
MatthewPalermo 295
Definitely Kyla. Her notes were absurd.

Hamza Tufail 3,357
1. Amanda Brown/Kyla Jade - OMG! both are The Queens when it comes to vocals. Probably one of the best contestants this show has ever seen. 3. Tessanne Chin/Jordan Smith - If we count all the factors then I THINK they are the best contestants ever. But solely based off of vocals Amanda and Kyla have a slight edge. 5. Josh Kaufman/Alisan Porter - They can sing for sure. Both have range for days. Great pipes. HM: Trevin Hunte, , Sisaundra Lewis, Chris Jamison, Jeffery Austin, Chris Blue, Maelyn Jarmon, John Holiday(Couldv've been higher if he managed to do the stuff On-Show what he did Off-Show) Jim ranger, etc... EDIT: Forgot Chris J, The bolded ones would make the top 10 list. Edited January 1 by Hamza Tufail
B-B 584
Omg I forgot Sisaundra. She is definitely this best, I mean she’s Celine Dion’s vocal coach

Hamza Tufail 3,357
I'm legit confused as to how can anyone think that Kimberly is VOCALLY on the same league as Kyla/Amanda/Jordan/Tessane/Alisan? She surely is a great singer and performer but vocally she pales out in comparison to the ones mentioned above.

I think she deserves a mention. Range isn’t everything.

They have much better breath control and pitch than Kimberly's. She has grit, stage presence and she's a great performer but that doesn't mean she is vocally on the same league as Kyla/Tess/Jordan/Josh/Alisan etc... But heyyyy if you think she is equal to them then ok keep thinking.

Weren’t you the one who called John Holliday the best vocalist ever on the Voice before the show even started the live shows?

I said that based off of his off-show stuff which was mainly Jazz and Opera. Btw I also said that I can't argue with you much because we haven't seen his true abilities ON-SHOW. 11 hours ago, Hamza Tufail said: 1. EDIT: Forgot Chris J, The bolded ones would make the top 10 list. For furthur clarification read my post that I made on BK's Ranking thread. This is what my post on that thread says, Btw here's mine 1- John Holiday 2- Jim Ranger 3- Carter Rubin 4- Cami Clune 5- Sid Kingsley 6- Ryan Gallagher - John H is, in my opinion, one of the best vocalists ever. Though I agree he failed to deliver ON-Show(Talking about live performances) what he did Off-Show(Probably not his fault since tptb didn't give him right song choices during the lives). His Jazz and Opera stuff was SO Amazing(Talking about his OFF-SHOW performances). Now if we talk about my favorite ON-SHOW performances from him, then I gotta say Misty/Summersoft/All By Myself all are one of my favorite BA/Battle/Ko ever. I wish he'd showed us his true vocal power. ( NOTE: I TAKE BACK MY WORDS WHEN I SAID{on the unpopular opinions thread} THAT VOCALLY JOHN IS THE BEST EVER TO COME TO THIS SHOW. I SAID THAT BECAUSE I WAS INCLUDING HIS OFF-SHOW PERFORMANCES AS WELL, BUT I GUESS, ONLY ON-SHOW PERFORMANCES MATTER. THOUGH I STILL THINK HE'S ONE OF THE BEST) Edited January 1 by Hamza Tufail
Jordan Smith Fan 47
1. Jordan Smith 2. Tessanne Chin 3. Maelyn Jarmon 4. Amanda Brown 5. Kyla Jade
thevoicefan 137
Alisan is a great vocalist! Maelyn too!
mercfan3 346
1. Tessanne 2. Alison 3. Maelyn Jacquie would be right up there if we compare what she is now to them, but not on the show. (Same for Kennedy and Mia Z if we wait until they are 25.)
VintageVoice 2,632
Amanda Brown Tessanne Chin Sisaundra Lewis Josh Kaufman Kimberly Nichole Jordan Smith Alisan Porter Chris Blue Kyla Jade Maelyn Jarmon Rose Short Toneisha Harris All of them have fantastic control and dynamics, and most have killer ranges too. I tend to be more impressed by tone and control than range; additionally, range doesn't necessarily refer to just high and low notes - several of these artists can cross genres with ease (Amanda, Tessanne, and Rose are the three that come to mind with that aspect) but being able to hit crazy highs/lows is impressive too.
