Hamza Tufail
Queen showing she doesn't even need a warm up to slay. Kelly is a vocal beast as well. Christina, Kelly, and Beyonce were the top three best vocalists of their time.

Her parts alone were enough to make it the best. Cami is a close second though.
Jordan Smith Fan
Okay this might be unpopular but I think that Adam Wakefield is the best male vocalist after Jordan Smith. First it's Jordan, then Adam, then Josh and then Craig. I know people are gonna call me biased but that's what I think.

Misirlou
We all at least once liked a contestant that was universally hated by the rest of IDF. I liked Red Marlow, for example. Edited February 5, 2021 by Misirlou
Hsamid
Was looking for a thread on this topic. I think it's mostly agreed Wendy Moten is the best vocalist this season and I did see people saying she's the best vocalist to ever be on this show before she even performed on The voice.. So now that we're in the finale, do you think she's in the conversation for best vocalist ever on the voice? I'd say she's one of the best, for sure. But not sure I'd rank her over someone like Jordan, Tessanee, or Kyla.

I’m interested to see what other people think, because I have seen a few users here that don’t even consider her the best vocalist this season. Cookie73
I figured Wendy would be mentioned in here when this thread was bumped. Can’t say I disagree though. Paris and Jershika are great vocalists as well (Just look at their Knockout matchup)

Misirlou
I mean, yeah, from a technical standpoint, Wendy runs circles around anyone else this season. No discussion coming from me there.
Cookie73
Cam Anthony is definitely one of the best male vocalists the show has seen in recent years as well
VintageVoice
Of the last two seasons, I’d put Cam and Wendy as the top vocalists on a technical level. On a genre-flexibility level, I’d 100% add Jershika: R&B, modern pop, jazzy soul, funk rock, contemporary Christian music, pop punk, classic pop, gospel…I think that speaks for itself. Archanium
Idk about best vocalist, but Wendy has one of the healthiest belting techniques (if not the healthiest). The clarity and the resonance of her belting are on the next level, and the fact that she can still produce those sounds at her age is a testament to how healthy her technique is.

Her technique is undeniable. Edited December 19, 2022 by Hamza Tufail
