Here's some stupid commentary for you guys...

MJ's blog is a cesspool. No not the fan comments lol jk The bots my god so many fake porn and robot accounts...

WHY can't I reply without some bot saying "Here's how you can make $1000" You can't tell me in all honesty that she can't afford spam ware! :(

IKR!? Sometimes I can’t even read her full posts because a pop up won’t get out of the way.

I agree with all of this. It makes me upset that THIS season is getting the longest/best format of all of the ABC era when other seasons could have benefited more from it. I also don't watch much TV anymore besides AGT, DWTS, and Idol, everything else I use my phone to watch lol.

I'm just wondering how you feel about DWTS moving to Disney+. Do you think you'll end up subscribing to Disney+ to watch it? Because I think there's a chance Idol might end up on Disney+, too. And right now, I just can't see myself becoming a Disney+ subscriber just to keep up with Idol.

Meanwhile, my unpopular opinion is that I actually really enjoyed Jay's Wild Card performance. I know how he performs definitely isn't for everybody, but I felt like I finally understood what he's about more after that performance. I realize that he's most likely not long for the show though now after having to be saved by the judges.

Didn't see this message until now - I already have Disney+ so I will still be able to watch DWTS and probably Idol whenever it makes the switch. However, I expect to see many fans in the same boat as you. I don't think many people will want to buy a whole streaming service, if they don't have it already, just to watch an episode or two of American Idol every week.

Mine too. It's still beyond me that folks around here think she deserved her spot but Mike/Jay didn't.

Nah, i dislike all three:P

EDIT: i want to clarify that i have enjoyed Emyrson's performance before last night, but her performance last night was just "no" from me. Let's see if she can redeem herself tonight

Both Allegra and Ava deserved to make it through over Emyrson, the "red lights, stop signs" part was such a trainwreck.

Girl has potential, I've seen her IG/Tiktok covers, but live she's 😬 Definitely underbaked.

Jay is still my least favorite though lol

Tristen can actually sing. He proved it last night. Rock singers aren’t always known for having conventional good voices but on AI they are expected to.

True. He’s a good singer. I want him to pick better songs though.

I'll follow Ava's career going forward. I hope she tours with someone this summer.

As for my op. This season went officially down the tubes last night. But I'll be voting for one person. Noah. I think he'd actually make a decent winner.

Tbh, IDF seems kind of toxic this season. I know I joined late , but it seems like all contestants have talent but off still is upset when a fav is eliminated

I don't disagree that we're more toxic this season...but I think we're all in agreement that there aren't as many deserving winners.

I don't usually like male country singers but somehow I like all the male country singers this season (Cameron/Dan/Noah/Mike)... in fact they might even be my four favourite male country singers ever on Idol. I love Mike's voice and he's grown on me a ton the last couple of weeks. I really respect and appreciate Noah's willingness to take risks instead of just singing a different country song every week. Dan had a couple of iffy performances but his tone is lovely. And I enjoy Cameron's energy on stage, and his upper register is so good especially in songs like Changes.

On the other hand I find Huntergirl pretty overrated although she's starting to grow on me a bit.

I never considered Cameron country. I thought he was more like pop or other genre

Emyrson and Hunter are the two worst contestants, and that they’ve outlasted Tristen and Ava is a shame.

I will agree with Emyrson. I wish Tristen would have stayed over her. Her performance of Driver's License was down right horrible.

I agree! Her performance of Driver’s License was quite painful, and sounded literally out of tune at times. Tristen was always a bit much—often too much and that was his problem—but at the end of the day he was ten times the vocalist and performer Emyrson is. I’m not sure what people are seeing in her, because I’m seeing someone that should’ve been cut in Hollywood Week.

I agree. The only performance she's had that I didn't mind was in Hawaii. I think it was Miley Cyrus song (which I'd never heard before).

Tristen was an entertainer and he could sing. I think a lot of his antics distracted from the fact that he was a good singer.

Lmao I feel exactly the opposite, it distracted from the fact that he was a very limited vocalist.
