HunterGirl is unoriginal and not marketable. I can think of many country singers who have been on idol before her who were way better but had way less hype. Skylar Laine from S11 comes to mind. She’s gonna be a massive flop winner if she ends up winning. 


Lady K had my second favourite audition of the season but hasn’t impressed me since.

 

Cadence had the best Hawaii performance over everyone in the top 24 and it’s very underrated. 
 

Jay is terrible.

 

I don’t get the Fritz hype but I can see why people like him. 
 

Nicolina IS that good. And I think people forget she’s only 18. If she was in her early 20s (give her a few more years to develop vocally) she would be a BEAST.

I wouldn't say he's the worst, especially when Nicki Minaj and Ellen DeGeneres exist. However, between telling Elli there were others in her lane which wasn't the case followed by saying it was up to voters when it was the judges' pick was not a good look for him.

 

On the flip side, although none of the judges are anything to write home about, the best one this season has been dare I say Luke. He's the one I pay the least attention to; however, he is trying to critique the performances as much as he can. I wanted to hear what he really had to say about Tristen's performance. This happened last season as well when he all but told Nick Merico he wasn't as good as the other contestants.

Mike chose country the moment he sang a country song in his first audition, as far i am concerned he can sing because that makes him happy, it's his choice and he chose it.

out of all the female country artist's i had to be Mickey. Mickey is extremely talented. there other females for a comparison like Ashley McBride and Priscilla Block.

What Bk was trying to say is that not all female country singers sound the same, and used Mickey as an example to prove that point because she and Huntergirl don't sound nothing alike. It's ridiculous to try to discredit one female country singer by putting all of them in the same box.

thank you, they don't look anything alike either before anyone takes it the wrong way, i love Mickey, i am a fan of hers.

Try following the AI section of the forum on email and then getting X amount of threads every time someone is eliminated in your mailbox. lol

I get discussion but EVERY ELIMINATED SINGER???

This is the most boring Top 14 in a long time. IMO

Ava is the only one keeping me from falling asleep. Honorable mention to Leah, and Fritz has potential but can put out some sleepy performances.

Idol shouldn't feel like I'm forced to sit through 2-3 hours of T.V. a week but hey here we are.

I don't even watch T.V. anymore. Just cooking shows and Idol. That's it. lol

I agree with all of this. It makes me upset that THIS season is getting the longest/best format of all of the ABC era when other seasons could have benefited more from it. I also don't watch much TV anymore besides AGT, DWTS, and Idol, everything else I use my phone to watch lol.
