I´m doing it only with songs that have already been performed on the show.

Overdone:

I´m Not the Only One by Sam Smith

Tenneesee Whiskey (Chris Stapleton version, who I love, but he has other songs, and someone should tackle the George Jones or DAC versions)

Mercy by Shawn Mendes

House of the Rising Sun by the Animals

I´m already tired of When the party´s over by Billie Eilish

If I Ain´t Got You by Alicia Keys

Perfect by Ed Sheeran

Unaware by Allen Stone

I can´t stand them:

Dance Monkey by Tones and I

Lost Without U by Robin Thicke

She Got the Best of Me by Luke Combs

Dangerous Woman by Ariana Grande

Good as You or What ifs by Kane Brown

High Difficulty Level:
Cry by Faith Hill

Without or Without You/ I Still Haven´t Found What I´m Looking For by U2

Purple Rain by Prince

Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson

That´s What I Like by Bruno Mars

Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood

I’ll add these for now:

It's a Man's Man's Man's World (James Brown)

A Natural Woman (Aretha Franklin)

I Have Nothing (Whitney Houston)

All By Myself (Celine Dion)
I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing (Aerosmith)

Ain’t No Way (Aretha Franklin)

When A Man Loves A Woman (Micheal Bolton)

These need no explanation, lol.

Bruno Mars’ entire discography.

Most modern country songs (unless it’s for bussing purposes :P)

Queen in general (unless you’re Jordan Smith)

Adele in general

Chandelier (Sia)

Honestly anything from Stapleton or Sheeran.  I get that they make good songs but let's move on shall we?

I would actually be more than happy if they sing some Stapleton as long as is not Tennessee Whiskey (which I should have added to my list).

As for Sheeran, Thinking Out Loud can burn.

Not me thinking that you were talking about Maelyn and being confused for a good 5 minutes. 😂

The ones I left on there are ones that I like and/or am fine with keeping on the show. I haven't seen HOTRS much in the time I've watched live so that's probably why for that one, and I really like Alicia Keys/Sam Smith so I'm fine with them. Dance Monkey I am okay with but I don't love.

If only they could come up with creative choices for the powerhouses on this show... The only one in recent memory I can remember is Rose doing God's Country.

And in regard to Adele, she's probably my favorite singer, so I'd be happy to see more of her stuff on The Voice. In particular, I'd like to see "Hello" done well, and I'd like to see Skyfall again (Brynn did a great job with it!). Water Under The Bridge would also be great. I also really like Chandelier. I think in general I'm biased to songs that got me into really liking music, so I get excited when I see someone singing them (even if it is overdone).

I want to see someone take on "Death Row" by Stapleton. If they nail it, it´s a moment for sure. "Either Way" was done very well by Adam C on S13 too.

As for Sheeran , he has "Tenerife Sea" which is a really good song, perfect for a singer-songwriter type of artist, yet nobody has touched it on the show.

I love Adele (who doesn’t?), and she’s also one of my favorites, but the covers of her songs usually fall flat for me. Idk if it’s because her songs are hard or because maybe I have high standars, but they never work for me.

I think I would be fine with some of her more obscure songs tho (I Miss You, Love In The Dark, most of 19...)

i'm not a big fan of the idea that a singer can "put a song to rest". like, yeah, chloe kohanski killed landslide, but that doesn't mean desz couldn't sing it. kimberly nicole singing house of the rising sun didn't stop hannah huston. jordan smith's chandelier didn't stop allegra miles. i don't like to think there's usually a "definitive" version of a song that is, full stop, the only version that can exist.

that said, "i have nothing". the absolute champion of overdone ballads that usually never live up to the bombast in covers. says a lot when not even davon fleming, one of my favorite singers on the show period, couldn't even nail it. tessannee is the only one who's done it justice.

also, any edm song/song that requires a lot of dancing. can they be done? yeah, definitely. has anyone ever done them justice on the show except chris blue? not really lmao. ciana pelekai has a great voice, but her audition made me feel physically ill on song choice alone

AGREE

These women are my Top 2 👑

I hate their songs being covered for several reasons:
- They always choose the same songs.
- They try to imitate Sia in terms of styling
- Most fail with Adele

It's sad because they have powerful and soulful songs, but the contestants never measure up.
