Liam St John for me. I was looking forward to watching him in the show since the S18 spoilers thread, and it sucks he was cut out so early now that he did make the show.

Looking through the list, I can honestly say none of those eliminations bug me.

Liam's the closest to a disappointment for me but I'm pretty sure even if he'd won KOs would've been his ceiling anyway, so it's not really that disappointing.

yup, exactly the same. in previous seasons i would have been annoyed at one or the other, but this season i don't mind it. they're getting rid of mostly fodder in the battles, which is great! personally, i picked rio because he had a good BA and his ~vibes~ were excellent on his battle song (not as good as casme's tho ). I also loved Liam's voice so it was between those two for me but i decided on rio.

The words I remember from the source's comments were "strained" and "pitchy". He didn't sound like that in the clip we saw but that could've just been one of the better parts.

Liam's my vote. That was a stealworthy battle and I hate that they literally gave them the last battle spot.

Rio, Eli, and Olivia were also deserving of moving forward in the competition overall imo. (I think the right decision was made in the battle but it they were better than some of the people who made KO's imo.)

From this group, my vote would be Lain. However, if the source's comments about Lain being strained and pitchy are accurate, I would rethink. Sadly, we were never given the opportunity to either view or listen to the battle in its entirety in order to make an informed decision for ourselves.

Maybe Emmalee, but it's more that I want to see how she did in the battle than that she was robbed, her voice sounded so pretty in the Blinds.
