I actually do agree with this...I for a second thought Sophia won't make it, but didn't know who to replace her with....but i agree with the other 9...Lauren did herself huge favors in my opinion and might have catapulted herself into the top 10...whether "America" will vote for her is another thing...

I think Makayla will probably be fine, the people like her didn't really perform...well, Lauren did (and she's not even American), but all the others kinda flopped that can fill that Makayla slot...I'm not sure about Sophia because I think Julia really did outdo her..actually other than Arthur, Francisco and Samantha...i can see a scenario where all the others are cut...

Are there any judges picks this season? or is it entirely viewer voted???....because if it's judges choice...Jovin can totally get through, if not...he's dead in the water and Makayla will most likely be fine...

From what I've been seeing though, people seem to be responding better to Kimmy's performance compared to Makayla's Also, Louis has a solid fanbase and might sneak in past Sophia which would be tragic.

Maybe, maybe not...but the thing is Kimmy doesn't have the fanbase that Makayla has, so...we'll seee...I don't think Louis' performance can save him from being the Garrett Jacobs/Jonny Brenns this season...especially since only 10 are going through...i also think people are also assuming Dillon, Francisco, Arthur and Jonny will all go through, but their fanbases actually do overlap a bit, so...I don't think we can assume all of them are going through...that's also another reason I don't think Louis will go through because he's also in that group of people....

They haven’t confirmed one way or the other, but I think the assumption is there aren’t any wildcard picks this year and it’s just the ten we put through.

My guess is the ten advancing will consist of the final 11 who performed, just with Louis taking DeWayne’s spot and no Cyniah.

And for the people doubting Lauren. I think the scattered Canadian's that live in the US are going to be more loyal and beneficial to her then many of the other's home towns.

But Lauren will make it on her talent regardless.

Arthur, Francisco and Just Sam are mortal locks for the Top 10.

I felt that Jonny, Lauren and Louis did enough to move on to the Top 10.  And while I ranked Dillon behind Franklin, I think that he’ll move on as well, especially if the country fans vote for him and not Grace.

That leaves me with Franklin, Grace, Julia, Kimmy, Makayla and Sophia.  If Grace gets enough country votes she’ll move on, but I suspect Dillon will scoop most of those votes up, so I think she’s out.  I also feel that Franklin’s just not memorable enough to move on.

 

So that leaves me with Julia, Kimmy, Makayla and Sophia.  I think that Julia and Sophia are different enough from each other that they’ll both move on, while I feel that Kimmy and Makayla will split the vote, leaving one of them out in the cold.  My head says that Makayla will move on but my heart says that Kimmy will move on.

 

I’m going with ... my head and saying that Makayla will move on to the Top 10since she performed after Kimmy.  But I hope that it’s Kimmy who moves on.

 

Thus, the Top 10 will be Arthur, Dillon, Francisco, Jonny, Julia, Just Sam, Lauren, Louis, Makayla and Sophia.

Makayla picked a dud song choice, so that could cost her the spot. Had she chosen a better song, she could’ve sailed through.

Just Sam will make the Top 10, but I don't know if she's as solid as Arthur or Francisco.  And it goes back to an uninspired song choice.  A coronation song from 16 years ago isn't going to generate the passion votes, especially when others are doing more creative things.
