katie - wow, if she doesn't win...

rose - aretha 2 weeks in a row, SLAY!!

 

ricky - still missing that oomph!

 

jake - not as good as desperado, so...

 

duets:

rose - rose deserved better

ricky - they're focusing too much on guitar-ing...

jake - he's a non entity next to kelly lol

Covers:

1. Rose - Best performance of the season, tbh. She killed that.

2. Katie - I hate that she got this song, but it wasn't a trainwreck.

3. Ricky - Boring.

4. Jake - Boring with a twang.

 

Originals:

1. Katie - The best original easily, but nothing outstanding.

2. Rose - Good singing but the song itself is bland.

3. Ricky - Mediocre.

4. Jake - Pitchiest performance of the night by far.

 

Duets:

1. Katie/John - This was surprisingly fun!

2. Jake/Kelly - Kelly did great but her backup singer dragged her down.

3. Rose/Gwen - Rose was terrific but Gwen just... can't sing.

4. Ricky/Blake - :haha:

 

Who's winning? Hoot. Why would it be anyone else? It was decided long ago.

Cover: Ricky - Yes the song choice was meh, but the others had clunkers too. This a genre preference vote. I like Country, but Jake doesn't cut it for me.

I think Katie will win, but won't be shocked if Jake does.

The voice that should take this Season of The Voice is Rose's.

 

Jake I'll change from thinking he'd win to 2nd. He'll appeal to many, even though, vocally not all that great or special, to my ear & comparatively.

 

The other 2, in my mind, tie for 3rd. Although, poorest voice, IMHO is Rick.

Want: Rose by a hair over Katie. Ricky solidly in 3rd and closer to 2nd than Jake in 4th.

Will: Katie fumbles it away to Jake thanks to piss poor cover song choice and lacking a moment in the finale. Ricky in 3rd because Team Blake. Rose is fourth because...well...we've been down this road before.

Overall the covers were pretty weak with some head scratchers for song choices. Rose was the best but I was hoping for more.

The weakest set of original song I can remember on the show. I didn't like any of them tbh.

 

Thought Kelly/Jake was the best duet.

3. Rose: Song is too bland for a finale. :sleep:

4. Jake: This is the definition of generic country music. :x

3. Katie and John: :yawn:

4. Rose and Gwen: poor Rose. :(

 

 

Overall tragic night. It's amazing how Jake Hoot winning is still a possibility, that should tell you something about this season.
