Kawlan Roken So yeah that "Path" thing or whatever I talked about in the last writeup. This dude was part of it too. Did we forget to add Maya Erskine to this game? As much as I hate the Obi-Wan series, Maya Erskine deserves the world. This guy was played by O'Shea Jackson Jr., aka Ice Cube's son. The Yankees are now blowing their game after a Rangers loss while I'm writing this. I am sad. Kawlan was part of The Path, that helped protect Jedi and force sensitive people. He was partial to the cause because he was married to a force-sensitive woman who got killed by the Empire. Tbh, the last two episodes were the best parts of the Obi-Wan show and that did involve The Path. But that's not really the strength of these new characters they introduced, that was because the battle scenes weren't terrible. It was an incredibly low bar, but yes, Kawlan is in the best part of the Obi-Wan show. But that's not a good enough reason for me to not cut two of the characters from that show right now.   Save Frog Lady lol

Haja Estree After singing the praises of "starwars.com" over the "wookiepedia" it appears we have reached the point where people were too lazy to make an entry. And to be fair, I can't blame the site admins. The Obi-Wan show was a steaming pile of crap. Spoiler alert, I love Obi-Wan and particularly love Ewan McGregor's portrayal of Obi-Wan. This show was lazy, fan-servicey, gave us no additional interest to these rich characters, and worst of all BORING. The show getting a best limited series Emmy nomination was an absolute disgrace to the category. Anyways, all I kept thinking when watching the show was "What is Kumail Nanjiani doing in Star Wars". Unfortunately I could not separate Kumail Nanjiani from the character. Star Wars should not hire already famous people. It's a space soap opera. Seeing Kumail Nanjiani takes me out of the immersion. I had the same problem with him in Eternals. He was good in the Hulu Chippendales limited series though. I haven't talked about his character for a second because I hated the Obi-Wan show that much and the second it ended, I pushed every aspect of that show out of my head. Unfortunately I can't forget that obnoxious Child!Leia no matter how hard I try. But about Haja! He was a con artist who pretended to be force sensitive. However, he tried tricking an actual jedi and got caught fast lol. So Obi-Wan roped Haja in to help him rescue Leia. While he originally worked with Obi-Wan out of force, he ended up joining up with him of his own free will and joined The Path. God, I don't even remember what that is, what a pathetic show. Anyways, I do kiiiiinda remember this character just because I kept thinking this isn't an actual Star Wars character, just Kumail Nanjiani in robes.   Save Eedy Karn
