hopefully Camille and Fiercalicious will be saved.  Loosey can be saved last as we know it would drive the real Loosey crazy.

Some thoughts:

Oooh Blue. She's a really interesting BB contestant for me. I started off finding her really annoying and put on, mainly with her DRs - which were just way too extra, lmao. But I did slowly grow to warm up to her and did like her towards the end of her run. Crazyy how Jared shared his secret with Blue but props to her for not spilling that when she had every right to do so, lol. But yeah her downfall was trusting way too much in Jag & Matt. But yeah I grew to like her but still wasn't a major favorite for me.

Honestly, I'm reallly surprised with Mauricio & Emma making it this far into the game, as they weren't really IDF favorites. He started off a little rocky but I did enjoy his growth as a dancer and he did show actual improve from his first two dances. Agreed that his Contemporary was the highlight of his journey. I do think he left at about the right time.

Olivia Culpo "UFO" was a really pleasant surprise on The Masked Singer. I've known of her and some of her accomplishments. But yeah I thought she had a really pretty and nice voice. I can't remember my favorite from her - probably "Yellow." But she did well and lasted a good amount of time - and yeah it was kinda easy to come that she would leave when she did. But she amazing being in strong competition with that Top 3.

Aww Ariel. I did enjoy her on Stars on Mars. She was a good competitor and gave it her all - though lol she moreso loved being the Mission Specialist and Base commander than participating in the actual challenges.  :giggle: But with my competitive self, Tinashe and Porsha were my Top 2 of that season and that's what I was hoping for here, so I more than approve of her going right now. :ph34rwave: But still this is a great placement for her.

Cole Cook

alicia-keys-cole-cook-4-d6d92b4dac3a498b

Randomizer went a bit hard on the reality contestants so that leaves me with some options and I felt like the fairest cut for me to make would be from the show I care the absolute least about.

Cole Cook is a contestant from Claim to Fame. According to Wikipedia the other contestants that season didn't like him much due to him playing the game ? Interesting this is according to reddit so if this is not true and just unlikeable I'll take that too. He is the older brother of Alicia Keys who is an absolute legend. So no wonder he needed to go on this slow.

Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt

Heidi was fine. I can't say I ever really formed an opinion on her. She went into the endgame surrounded by a lot of bigger characters and so I just didn't pay her much attention. Her game was pretty under the radar, and she was able to put a stop to the Tika Three making it to Final Tribal Council when she won the last immunity challenge. I like that she stepped in to fire making purely because it put a stop to Carson making the endgame. She got one vote to win in the end but it wasn't enough against Yam Yam who charmed the jury and got the title. On the whole I enjoyed this season, but I struggle to remember many Heidi moments and so I think this is an ok placement for her.

I liked Cole at first but didn't like how he betrayed Shayne and got her out of the game... so fine with him going now. :kissbye: Though Cole is Alicia Keys' younger brother, actually. :haha: But at least Shayne gets to outlast Cole here.

Agreed with a lot of Lily's thoughts on Heidi. She was.... fine, for the most part. Not a major favorite of mine or anything. While I would have loved to have seen a Tika Final 3 happen, I'll give her props for doing what she had to do to get to the end as the underdog in her situation. But also not here for her getting more votes than Carolyn in the final though. :/

Noora H (Australian Idol)

AUSTRALIAN IDOL: NOORA H ON HER IDOL JOURNEY AND WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS

Watching her audition now. Apparently they give the contestants a piano accompanist for their audition instead of making them do it a cappella like in the US. Interesting! Lmao is that Megan Trainer as a judge... is that a joke. Based on the audition I'm not blown away, her vibrato is a little too warbly for me and the upper register doesn't have that effortless quality that I look for but it is pretty solid and I'd probably advance her to the next round based on that. She made it to the Top 12 live performances but was in the bottom 4 for the first week. But she saved herself and made Top 10. Avoided the bottom 4 that week but was in the bottom 4 during Top 8 week. Which.. is pretty silly to have a bottom 4 at that point because that's half of the finalists lol. Oh, it looks like maybe she was saved from the voting during Top 10 week because of the judges. Let's watch that performance too, why not. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm I guess in fairness I'd have to hear the rest of the finalists to determine if I would have been rooting for her or not... but based on what I've seen I don't think losing her at this point is a tragedy for our game.

I’m putting Shayne Murphy as the cut, but if @Zoey doesn’t make her writeup before noon tomorrow anyone can jump in and change it if that.

But I’m now opening public nominations. Any member of the public can now send me a ranking of 1-5 of who you’d like to see nominated. Anyone but those saved in the random noms round are eligible to be nominated. You can send me names till 4:00 EST tomorrow. Noms will be posted at 5.

@taylorkat @~Tom~ @.Rei @totes4totes @Elliott

This is very quick tagging on my phone without looking through the thread so apologies if I did not tag you, you’re still more than welcome to PM or DM me noms!

  • Alex95 changed the title to 2023 Reality Stars Rankdown (Public Noms Next)

I liked Noora though she wasn't one of my top favorites on Australian Idol. I feel like I remember her having a very lovely and pretty voice, though at the same time she had a shaky vibrato and vocals here and there. I did feel bad for how often she was in the Bottom 4. :( It was nice how the judges saved her that one week (I think at Final 8). But yeah, this is a good spot for her to make it to in this rankdown.

And LOL Yes Meghan Trainor was a judge on that season of Australian Idol and was so terrible at it. :dead: Well, she was sweet and nice but offered no constructive criticism so maybe she would be a good judge to replace Katy Perry on American Idol - though Katy is a far better judge

Ahh dear I had a feeling public noms were coming though didn't know exactly when that would be. :shiver:

Shayne-on-Claim-to-Fame-071623-e4ca5c941
Shayne Murphy | Claim to Fame

Shayne Murphy was a part of the cast of Claim to Fame season two. I’ve just realised that I haven’t seen the entire season and there’s literally nothing on the internet to give me the boot order other than the front page of this thread.  Shayne is the daughter of Eddie Murphy and was ousted by a close ally during the fourth episode. Shayne seemed like a pretty chill person and stayed pretty silent when she wanted to. :haha: Between staying silent and flirting she put herself in a decent position but that made the other contestants wary of her. Shayne was able to seek her revenge when she left a note and the other contestants not trusting Cole after what he did to her. He followed her right out of the game. Pretty iconic.

Save Olivia.

Shayne! 😢

Aww I really loved Shayne and sad to see her go but kinda figured she would so at least I was kinda prepared for it. :broken: I was hoping she could fly under the radar in this game even longer. Sadly Shayne's identity of being related to Eddie Murphy was figured out early on so she did everything she could to stay in the game as long as possible - from having a flirtmance with Cole, creating alliances, trying to win challenges, etc. She was calm/cool but played the game! I reallly loved her friendship with Monay and how they would scheme/strategize together.   LOL the note + also Monay was gonna seek revenge for her with Cole going the following week. :giggle: But yeah At least Shayne got to outlast Cole a little bit here in this rankdown which is all I could ask for. :haha: (Though I promise I don't dislike Cole lol). And hey a 6th place finish is better than the 9th place finish she had on the show as well.

I haven’t followed this rankdown at all so in all fairness, I don’t feel comfortable submitting nominations. :haha: Thanks for the invite, though.

Me on the other hand, submitted nominations from the only 2~3 seasons of reality tv that I watched 🙃
