Well, here´s my favorite team so far.

Guess I do have the honky tonk (and bell bottom) blues.

1. Neil

Rasp and softness combo, give it to me

2. Alex

Could be his frontrunner, great audition.

3. Grace

Unhibited rasp, give it to me

4. Walker

Gorgeous start to her blind, kinda lost me in the middle, but a very consistent vocal and pure tone.

5. Tasha

Great singers, issues in their respective auditions prevented me from enjoying them as I would have liked to.

6. EJ

7. Kylee

You know I love rasp, and he had some good bits, but I should have liked this a lot more than I actually did.

8. Kason

Nice tone, that´s about it.

9. Carlos

10. MaryKate

Great

1. Neil

Fun voice and stage presence and used a wide array of vocal techniques competently.

Very good (most of everyone here is interchangeable tbh, so this will be moreso on personal preference )

2. Alex

Versatile sounding voice with quite a few different tonal flavours to it, all of which pretty interesting.

3. Tasha

Pure tone and impressive belting range

4. Mary Kate

Pure, innocent tone that captured the lyrics of the song more than anyone here imo. Maybe a bit more power to the belts.

5. JB.

Rich, pleasant tone. Falsetto is a bit weak

6. Grace

Strong belts and lower register.

7. Kylee.

Strong belts

8. Carlos

Smooth all around competent vocal.

Some potential, need work

8. Kason

No vocal dynamics and very lackluster range. Nice rocker voice though.

9. Walker

Great rasp but didn't seem to have complete control over it.

I didn’t expect it either, I guess after rewatches of Kylee’s performance the indie girl shaped hole in my heart was filled after seasons of not having them / being underwhelmed by them.

Ok, that's understanable (same, tbh).

Though, to be fair, we also haven't had a really good country female in a while so for me it goes both ways (Lana was good but something was missing from her, i can't explain it. And i hardly consider Morgan country, it just doesn't feel right to call her country based on her whole journey on the show )

Yeah both Kylee and Grace are a breath of fresh air tbh. I don’t if its just because she also auditioned with a Maggie Rogers song but the former actually reminds me of Zan but with a fuller belting voice. Their little runs at the end of their phrases are similar.

I think Taryn had potential, but she got screwed with the format (and Blake's wrong decision), plus she didn't really get to show her full capabilities. There's no way she chose that PO song.

Madeline was pretty good too but she's more modern country like Lana from what I could see.

On topic though you should post your ranking :giggle:
