FINALE SET:

 

1. Jershika- Great job on both.

2. Wendy - Wasn´t big on her uptempo but her ballad was the best of the night, and that alone elevates her.

3. GNT- Uneven uptempo, but their ballad was phenomenal.

4. Paris- His ballad was pretty good, but the uptempo didn´t work for me.

5. Hailey - Enjoyed the later part of her ballad, but it was uneven, and didn´t enjoy her uptempo.

 

PERFORMANCES:

1. Wendy- Over the Rainbow: Damn. Just, damn.

2. GNT - Baby, Now That I´ve Found You: Lovely, the classic GNT harmonies on point. Gorgeous all around.

3. Jershika - I´m Goin´Down : Loved this. Fierce and growly.

4. Jershika - Rolling in the Deep - Unortodox song choice, but she came in and killed it. Loved how she made it her own. Not her best vocal, but so interesting.

5. Paris - Me and Mrs Jones : Dragged a bit, but overall this was smooth and pleasant. Loved his choices and how he jazzied up even more. Good job, man.

6. Wendy - How Will I Know:  Great vocal as always, but this one meandered quite a bit. 

7. Hailey - idontwannabeyouanymore: Bit of a rough start but recovered nicely and the ending was gorgeous. It felt pretty uneven though.

8. GNT - The Chain - As someone who was longing for this song for them, I´ll admit it didn´t really work out. It was enjoyable, but it didn´t light me up like Viva la Vida did. The boys pretty much crumbled, and Bekah had to save them, even though she had problems too. 

9. Paris - Ain´t Nobody - This was probably the performance I was most excited about...and it never came. The growls were killer, but everything in between was pitchy and tentative. I love Paris but this wasn´t it.

10. Hailey - deja vu : This didn´t work for me at all.

I'll say this...all of the finalists should have had better uptempo songs. Because their performances of them weren't it. They all had problems.

I mean, Girl Named Tom is who I've been rooting for since the beginning, but Wendy and Jershika absolutely killed it tonight.

1. Wendy (Over the Rainbow) - Top 5 best vocals I have ever witnessed on this show. She has been brilliant since Jolene but this was just unbelievable.

 

Great job!

2. GNT (Baby Now That I've Found You) - So pretty. Both solos and harmonies were on point. 

3. Hailey (idontwannabeyouanymore) - My favorite performance from her, period.

4. Wendy (How Will I Know) - Phenomenal. I'm glad this wasn't a Freeway of Love 2.0.

5. Jershika (I'm Going Down) - I think singing in all those Instant Saves might have affected her voice, but she still managed to power through and deliver a great performance.

6. Jershika (Rolling in the Deep) - Same as above.

 

50/50

7. Paris (Me and Mrs Jones)- Decent but not particularly memorable.

8. GNT (The Chain)- I loved it as a whole and it was definitely entertaining, but some parts were really messy (specially the last chorus)

9. Paris (Ain't Nobody) - His weakest, and it sucks because the studio was *chef's kiss*

10. Hailey (deja vu) - Ouch. Loved the staging with the beds though.

I have to agree here strongly.

 

Honestly I thought it was the best finale night performance of all-time. Man I love Tess' I have Nothing and Jordan's MDYK? was phenomenal but I just think Wendy even surpassed them.

 

For me This performance is right at the top with with Dream On, Somebody To Love, Cosmic Love, Cry Me A River,... etc.

Showstopping, Brilliant, Magnificent, Mind-blowing, Out of this world.

1. Wendy (Over The Rainbow) - I don't know what to say about it. I'm deceased.

2. GNT (The Chain) - Great Harmonies. Also loved the solo parts from Bekah. They were really good.

3. Hailey Mia (idontwannabeyouanymore) - A very nice performance. I mean she's only 13....

4. Paris (Ain't No Body) - Pitchy but still enjoyed it.

5. Wendy (How Will I Know) - Slow start but I liked the ending.

6. GNT (Baby Now That I've Found You) - Loved their Harmonies here too.

7. Paris (Me And Mrs Jones) - It was good but I didn't feel it much.

8. Hailey (deja vu) - Didn't enjoy it as much as her other performance but it wasn't bad. Imo
