At least, in the USA, it feels like a kind of "punishment" against the blocked coach for not turning fast enough, and the coach that blocks needs to be very smart and think fast at the moment that they are gonna use it. It obligates them to be strategic about it or otherwise their block is gonna go to waste. That makes things, at the very least, feel fairer (the block feature sucks itself, but they are never gonna get rid off of it, so at least i'm happy they haven't twisted in a more horrific way) The way Australia uses it... It's like, a spoiled child stealing a toy from another kid and getting away with it without any punishment. It's awful. It takes zero effort from a coach to take away a contestant from another coach, which feels really unfair. When a coach turned first, the other coach can still block the former... That's why I got pissed over the Kaylee Bell situation. searomordep Posted August 2, 2023 Share Posted August 2, 2023 Since the show moved to Channel 7 they don't have the All-stars twist anymore, but last year they had a good amount of returnee constestants (Thando Sikwila, Jael Wena, Ethan Conway, Chloe Kandetzki, Chriddy Black), they just didn't called them All-stars. Maybe they don't use the term cause it was a Channel Nine thing lol but I use to love seeing some artists back, so I hope we have it back this year. Seeing the artists who already confirmed they participation I'm not sure, but I think Shyjana is the same who competed on season 4 when she was just 16. I don't think the whole cast is in there tho, cause I already noticed some contestants who confirmed they participation and are not there, like the All-star Shyjana and the Drag Queen Brenda Bressed who was even spotted on a sneak peek.
