Best winner audition from Team Blake

So. This may be the start of all threads Blake related to celebrate his leave and years of service as a coach, now how would yall like that?

 

Anyways, who has the best audition by a winner from team blake? And how would you rank them?

Also Floorwax since you haven't reviewed all of the Blake winners yet for your project, if you post on the thread ig just do the ones you reviewed? Unless you don't mind..

Chloe or Cam would be my pick. Cam’s is like… the cleanest I’ve ever heard that song done. Voted Chloe though because it’s rare that someone does The Chain justice.

Bryce and it's not even close. FLAWLESS.

Cassadee's was sooo good!! I've heard some of it before but I don't think the whole way through and wow that was impressive. So natural.

Danielle's was good but... quite average. 

Cam's was okay I guess.

Chloe's was painful. 

Jermaine's was... not really my thing lol. Never really heard him much before. 

Todd's was a really decent performance. His voice is just solid.

Craig's was okay. If only he toned it down a bit more...

Sundance's was boring.

Cam and Bryce have the strongest auditions here. Voted Cam because it’s one of the best vocals we’ve seen in the last 9-10 seasons. 

 

Chloe is my favorite TB winner but I don’t love her audition for some reason.

Cam is sliding down in your list with the passage of time, I see.

 

I'm not complaining though. I also had him at #3 or #4 at some point, but now he's at #6 maybe? I think it's maybe cz he was the best of his season, and we all wanted him to win, so hyped him a lot. But after a couple of years, now when I look back at his run, I don't think it was other worldly as we made it seem. He never missed a note, but didn't have crazy moments either. (I still rate him high, cz I love his tone).

You remember my winner rankings better than me lol.

I like Cam the same amount as I did before but I rewatched Chloe’s run a few months ago and fell in love so that’s why I would currently rank her over Cam.

Voted for Bryce, since we're just talking auditions. That was a fantastic performance. It's a shame he didnt keep it up, even though he kinda redeemed himself towards the end of his run (albeit never reached that level again).

 

Cam's blind is excellent but it's the performance of his I listen to the least. Chloe was great as well, but her other FM cover overshadowed this one.

 

CWB, Sundance, Todd, Danielle and Cassadee would go on to have way better performances than their blinds.

Went with Bryce lol.

 

It's easily his best performance, while I'd say Chloe's audition is one of her weaker performances.

 

As for cam. Objectively the best vocal here, but felt too polished to me. Sucked out all the tenderness of the original and turned it into a corny, uplifting pop song.

 

I mean, how he changed the feel and melody of the song is commendable (shows artistry on his part) and he definitely accomplished what he set out to do, It's just not my vibe. I usually dislike sappy songs in the vein of stuff like  "all of me" or "perfect"

"Mean" is still my favorite after 10 years, partly because of the interactions among the coaches and Danielle.

Blake's initial reactions and comments to Danielle were so cute.

Usher trying to bribe Danielle with Justin Bieber concert tickets was hilarious.

Blake's reaction to Adam turning for Danielle.

And many more little things that made the whole audition wholesome and heartwarming. 

 

The performance itself shows a lot of potential, and considering that it was her first performance in front of a big audience, it's impressive how pitch perfect it was, and no nerves.

Torn between Bryce and Cam, but ended up picking Bryce by a hair (in part because I know Cam’s going to get plenty of support here & in part because Bryce had a rock-solid classic country vocal that was very pleasant to listen to).
