Girl Named Tom

I feel like they should be doing a Brandi Carlile song, fast. More specifically, Right on Time or This time tomorrow, so the harmonies are really present throughout the performance. Maybe Crowded Table, by the Highwomen.

Jeremy Rosado

I know it's cliché, but Without you. It's a staple on singing competitions and Jeremy seems like "that kind of guy".

Hailey Mia

She could go for Rainbow, by Kacey Musgraves. Seems like the kind of song tailored to a sweet little girl to earn some votes on singing competitions. A much more bold suggestion, and perhaps impossible to happen is Because of you, by her own coach. It's the type of emotional song she would handle, Kelly wrote it when she was 16 and the whole "contestant singing coach song" always gathers attention. But I doubt Kelly would suggest it.

Holly Forbes

Bridge over troubled water, by Simon and Garfunkel [original version]. I feel like she should concentrate on emotional standarts at this point.

Wendy Moten

...Honestly, some Reba McEntire. She has the chops to do Fancy like no one has done before on this show.

Paris Winningham

I can't make you love me, by Bonnie Raitt. I feel like this song has some bluesy qualities that would appeal to minivan.

Lana Scott

She will probably stick to the "cute" female country lane. So, probably Merry Go 'Round, by Kacey Musgraves. Maybe go for a ballad, like Don't make my brown eyes blue, by Crystal Gayle.

Joshua Vacanti

Don't Stop Believin', by Journey. If it was enough to be Glee's "first single", Joshua will handle. Also, its emotional, tailored to his tone and a good chorus for this kind of competition.

Gymani

I feel like something from Mariah would suit her, but I'm always afraid of throwing Mariah on someone's back.

Shedale

I'd like to see her performing something by Alicia Keys or Destiny's Child... Maybe No one, by Alicia.

Ryleigh Plank

Sweet Dreams, by Eurythmics/Annie Lennox. I feel like it's right on her "edgy pop' lane and there's space for the kind of head voice she usually goes to.

Jershika

I'm usually oblivious to her song choices, so I can't exactly form  a suggestion.

Jim and Sasha

Dust in the wind, by Kansas. Cliché, I know. But it would appeal to minivan and I feel like Jim masters this song in his sleep.

Hayley Mia— Sit Still, Look Pretty by Daya

It’s a teenage female empowerment anthem, so a perfect fit for a 14 yo girl

The only thing I’d worry about would be the song not being a well-known enough choice to help her stay out of the bottom three/two for the next couple weeks, but this would be a really good fit.

Leave the Pieces by the Wreckers (Michelle Branch/Jessica Harp) could be good for either GNT or Jim and Sasha -- very poppy country duo song

Also Closer to Fine by Indigo Girls. Lost opportunity if they don't 🙂

Both versions of this song on the show were solid, but GNT can surpass them without breaking a sweat.

I'll give it a go.

Girl Named Tom - I want to hear more of their "intense" side they showed in their PO, so "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac. For something softer, I could see them slaying "The Sound of Silence" by Simon & Garfunkel.

Jeremy Rosado - Maybe he can take the singing female pop songs torch from David? "Million Reasons" by Lady Gaga

Gymani - I think "Ave Maria" by Beyonce should be sung one of these days and I can see Gymani doing a great version of it.

Hailey Mia - I wanna hear her sing Liability by Lorde.

Jim & Sasha Allen - I don't know much classic folk but for something more recent, how about "Ragged Wood" by Fleet Foxes? Sasha has the energy for it.

Holly Forbes - She should go the singer songwriter route and utilize her soft voice for much longer. "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room" by John Mayer

Ryleigh Plank - Her energy when doing upbeat is infectious, so she should do something upbeat but much less demanding. "Make Me Feel" by Janelle Monae

Jershika Maple - Something jazzy that can make use of her gorgeous low tones. I'd love if she'd do Lianne La Havas' version of "Say A Little Prayer" but Jershika can make it more her own.

Joshua Vacanti - He's already pretty overwrought so might as well lean into the cornball. "Without You" by Harry Nilsson lmao.

Shadale - "Hurt" by Christina Aguilera. She has a great cover of it from many years ago on Youtube.

Wendy Moten - Any powerful classic country female song.

Paris Winningham - Maybe he can be the one to sing "A Change Is Gonna Come" by Sam Cooke?

Lana Scott - I like her when she does upbeat so "Loose Change" by the Highwomen.
