I only started watching Idol since season 11 so yeah imma start there.

 

1. Jessica Sanchez- she's totally freakin' robbed, I mean with the performances of Dance With My Father, And I Am Telling You, The Prayer, etc. Philip had a great song with Home but other than that nah, thank u, next. Mind you guys, in the season 15 finale, she also closed out the performances of alumnis so I really think Idol loves her.

 

2. La'Porsha Renae- so underrated here lol. That Diamonds she slayed that to the point the other covers of it was meh to nothing to me . She just oozes a lot of emotions and passion when she sings.

 

3. Jena Irene- maaan, she and caleb were really great that season, it's so hard to pick between them. her song choices are on point.

 

4. Clark Beckham- he's actually pretty great and I'm surprised that he didn't win, but I am really not fond of his season so yeah

 

5. Alejandro Aranda- I do LOVE his creativity and originality and many more. But his type of voice is not my cup of tea, it's so boring to watch.

 

6. Arthur Gunn- I love his version of Have You Ever Seen the Rain but other than that? Nah thanks. I really don't get it why people is so fond of him, I find him boring especially when the remote shows started, his song choices are bland.

 

7. Kree Harrison- she just for me didn't deserved that spot in the final 2, Angie is way better than her.

 

8. Caleb Lee Hutchinson- meh. boring country guy, Gabby was way better than him, such a bummer when he entered the final 2 (maybe just to showcase his lovey dovey romance with Maddie lol)

Yeah I agree on Alejandro, I think hes a genius musician and even singer (listen to the Exit Form album and youll know).  Was his body of work on Idol mediocre? maybe?  But I liked alot of his performances, I don't think hes the worst runner up of all time, like some of you are ranking.

Lol posts like this are exactly why I’m ranking him last.

 

His “musicianship” means jack sh*t to me when I hated his voice and every single performance he turned in on the show. Not to mention said musicianship was over-exaggerated to the nth degree by the judges and viewers considering the things previous alumni did on the show.

I guess I just don't see why IDF in general hates him. Nothing against Laine as he was my 2nd fave that season.  

 

 

Ok so you're just going to ignore his guitar and piano skills? You don't have to like his voice. I like it mainly because I'm the weirdo who connects to sh!t like that year in and year out. lol

I'm biased towards Jena by the way. I hated her post show attitude but even I think she should be ranked higher based on talent. Poor Diana is last because I didn't watch her season, don't know her vocal style, and other than liking her as a famous alumni I couldn't rank her...

 

Anyway. Sorry for bringing up the Alejandro/Arthur elephant in the IDF board room.

1.  Jessica Sanchez — she was my favorite runner-up and I was devastated when she lost to Phillip.

2.  Clay Aiken — the only male that I ever voted for from the start, I loved his voice and the fact that he worked with kids with special needs.

3.  Crystal Bowersox — she should have won, not Lee.

4.  David Archuleta — I liked him more than David Cook.

5.  Diana DeGarmo — she was a worthy runner-up to Fantasia.

6.  Katharine McPhee — I liked her well enough.

7.  Kree Harrison — not my favorite but she was a very good singer.
8.  Caleb Lee Hutchinson — he might have been lower had he not been dating Maddie Poppe.

9.  Bo Bice — he was very good but I preferred others to him in his season.

10.  Lauren Alaina — she was very good.

11.  Jena Irene — I liked her more than Caleb.

12.  La'Porsha Renae — she was probably the best singer in her season.

13.  Clark Beckham — he was very good but also somewhat boring.
14.  Adam Lambert — I admit that he’s talented but I just couldn’t stand his singing or performing style.
15.  Blake Lewis — he could beat box well but he wasn’t a good enough singer.
16.  Arthur Gunn — I liked him as a person but his singing style could be grating.
17.  Justin Guarini — the first runner up, he was also one of the weakest.
18.  Alejandro Aranda — he may be a fine musician but he wasn’t a good singer.
