Spiderman into the Spider-verse

Here is the awkward part of rankdowns. Very good movies end up leaving. This movie came out in 2018. It takes place in a multi verse known as the "Spider Verse" The sci fi geek in me loves multiverses. So many possibilities for bringing character from different universes ~back.~ Such amazing drama from someone who looks like a person you loved, but it's not the version you know. I digress.

This movie had huge financial success. There are talks of making sequels, spin offs and possibly a tv series. A world like this one has all the potential for all of those things.

This movie was also very well received. It got a Golden Globe Award, Critic's Choice Award and an Academy Award. It has a 97% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. That is with an average score of 8.77/10. Metacritc gave it a score of 87/100. Cinemascore gave it an A+.
