Also, the only F I remember them giving recently was on Shane Q's "Caribbean Queen," and I don't think that any of these were that bad, so... Drew1903 Posted February 25, 2020 Share Posted February 25, 2020 (edited) Well, I seem to rarely be with the majority, but, anyway, there's my thoughts after Night 1: The last person - it was a very creative, interesting approach to the song and the vocal gymnastics were well done & impressive. That ⬆ said, there were 2 that made the keep-an-eye/ear-on-them list, for me. One was Tayler and the other Meg... I was/am surprised Kelly, alone, turned for Meg, thought she deserved more; maybe, Blake will Steal. Her unique tone & character in her voice, is super-cool and really did it, for me; has memorable, likable, quality (timbre). 2 or 3 out of how many (?) from one 1st night isn't so bad a ratio. My feeling is that he was mostly interested in winning the battle with the other coaches. Kelly actually seemed the most interested in Joanna as an artist.
