4&5 are close though (personal taste wise at least). Technically speaking I definitely think Nari had more problems, but also some really great moments.

Ross doesn't do anything for me while I'm partial to Nariyella's powerhouse style and tone. She hit some impressive notes and cool runs. Personal preference Nariyella is prob 4th.

 

But objectively speaking.. while maybe there were some things lacking, there wasn't really anything wrong with Ross's performance from a vocal standpoint. can't really say the same for Nariyella.

2. Cait (Pre-season, I wouldn't have even thought of putting her even in my top 8, but she shocked the hell out of me with her vocals. Arguably the best audition of the season, and one of my top 3 or 4 fav auditions this season.)

What I loved about Neil´s blind is that he managed to turn the 4 chairs with a loose, fun song choice, made more for a gig rather than a singing competition. Nothing wrong with a big, emotional song, or a downbeat, stripped down tune that showcases your voice better, but it´s nice to have a laid back, upbeat, "like you were at your local bar" audition and that it gets that recognition. That kinda made it stand out for me.
