Not a bad ranking. I would probably switch Walker/Kason and Magnus/Alyssa for worst, but the Bottom 5 makes sense. I would basically agree with the T5 as well, as well as the T10. And of course, Gina vs Kala is Number 1. Expected, but deserved

Yeah I thought Walker was better in the battle than his audition. Kason may have dragged it down though, but his individual audition also got higher than that battle… (I think people are harsher on battles for some reason lol)

Knockouts: Episode 2

Michael B - When You´re Gone - 5.5 (not a big fan of his tone and had some weak parts)

Jamar Langley - Cruisin - 5.5 (he did not stick the landing lol)

Grace West - Here You Come Again - 7 (idk y’all, I didn’t think this was great….)

Neil Salsich - Takin´ it to the Streets - 8 (he showed up!)

Ross Clayton - Dirty Work - 8.5 (finally gave us a great performance, wouldn’t be mad about him sticking around)

Sorelle - Blame it on the Boogie - 7 (interesting at least, but some bad parts)

Holly Brand - Blue Moon of Kentucky - 10 (no 11 allowed? /j)

Rachel Christine - Rihannon - 6.5 (ehhh… fine at the beginning but didn’t convince me, didn’t enjoy her upper runs)

Gustavo might kill me for a few of these, but oh well :stealth:

@Gustavo527 changing Grace and Sorelle to 7, Neil to 8, Ross to 8.5

Didn't expect this rating for NOIVAS/Ray, but good. 👍

Grace / Carlos might just be 2nd fav battle of the season, I was hoping they somehow cracked top 5, but 6 ain't bad too.

All the battles in top 5 were really great, so no complaints there as well.

Knockouts: Episode 2

Michael B - When You´re Gone - 7.5(sweet vocal)

Jamar Langley - Cruisin - 8(This dude is highkey cool asf, very nice to listen to)

Grace West - Here You Come Again - 9.5(Grace just keeps coming out here and slaying it with such a chill vibe about her, you can tell it seems easy for her, yet most average singers would struggle to do what she does)

Neil Salsich - Takin´ it to the Streets - 7(It was fine, 2nd half he showed up more)

Ross Clayton - Dirty Work - 8(He is no slouch, he can sing and connects to this performance)

Sorelle - Blame it on the Boogie - 7(Not bad tbh, was their best vocal)

Holly Brand - Blue Moon of Kentucky - 9.5(Holly is hella good, what a stellar performance she gave. I'm very glad to see her continue to progress nicely)

Rachel Christine - Rhiannon - 8.5(Rachel is progressing nicely as well, solid vocal and she came up swinging in the 2nd half)

Knockouts: Episode 2

Michael B - When You´re Gone -6.5

Got bandzilla'd, the entire performance was too quiet

Jamar Langley - Cruisin -5.5

He clearly has a quality tone, but I actually think he messed up quite a bit. His pitch seemed to waver too much and I thought I heard a few flat notes here and there.

Grace West - Here You Come Again -7.5

Quality tone, I can see why she's a favourite but I still don't think she's reaching her full potential with these song choices tbh. That said I think she did all she could with the song.

Neil Salsich - Takin´ it to the Streets -7.5

Fun performance, great stage presence. Minor nitpick but I thought the falsetto was a bit weak here?

Ross Clayton - Dirty Work - 7.5

Solid performance. I thought there was a noticeable difference between his tone here and in his other performances, feels like like the tonal quality of his voice improved. More character If you will, think this is his best yet

Sorelle - Blame it on the Boogie - 7

Somehow they get even more pitch perfect -esque. The song choice, arrangement, Just put them in the next movie already. Anyways, unique voices and style. But I think some of their individual parts just didn't go as smoothly.

Holly Brand - Blue Moon of Kentucky - 8.5

Those headvoice/yodel transitions were excellent.

Rachel Christine - Rihannon - 7.5

Cool tone and all around solid vocal.

As for the rated battles. Top 4 deserved.

But I thought Ali and D Smooth were better than Ryley and Michael. Only comparing since they were both RNB styled, but the former just did a lot more with their song in terms of runs, dynamics, range. Kinda surprised to see them rank lower

Lol forgot this existed.

Anyways here's my ratings. (I'm basing it off of how much enjoyment I got / how much it liked it.)

Episode: 1

NOIVAS - I Put A Spell On You - 9.9

Would've been a 10, but I didn't like that "bc you're miii-iiii-iiii-iiiine" part [1:29] that much. Overall I thought he slayed. I loved how he owned that stage. That last note was really unexpected bc I seriously didn't know he could got that high. I also want to mention his lower register here, it's incredible.

Tasha Jessen - Take Me To Church - 8.5

I thought she did a pretty good job. I loved it. The "Sharpen Your Knife" part was dope.

ALI - Best Part - 7.5

She did great, those runs were incredible. But I personally don't like her voice much. I want to enjoy her Performances, but for some reason, I just can't.

Gina Miles - Somebody That I Used To Know - 7.25

Love her, but didn't like this performance at all. Not a great song choice for her.

Ray Uriel - Lately - 7.25

Well, that's actually not bad, but I thought it was bland. Didn't feel it.

Kylee Dayne - All By Myself - 8

The beginning was shaky, but the high notes were good. I didn't like it much, but still, I thought she did a great job. 👍

Cait Martin - All The Man That I Need - 9

That was the first KO leaked, and I've watched her performance so many times, that now it's shrunk on me a bit lol. Also, I didn't like that "Heeeeee" part. [1:33] But the opening was fantastic, as well as the "Maa-aaaaa-aaaa-aan" part.

Kala Banham - Iris - 7.5

I'm not a fan of her tone, esp when she tires to go higher.

Episode 2:

Michael B - When You're Gone - 8.5

An underrated gem. Sure, he remained in the lower register for quite a long time, but I love his tone, so I loved those parts as well. I just wish he had shown a bit more. I know he's a very talented vocalist, he's just not showing that on the show. I hope he doesn't get bandzilla'd in the next round.

Jamar Langley - Cruisin' - 7.5

It wasn't the best showcase of vocals, but I thought it was really cool.

Grace West - Here You Come Again - 9.75

Like Blake said, that's the real deal. I love her tone so much, and it shined in this performance as well. She sang with such ease, it looked like it was really easy to do what she did, but it really wasn't. Her stage presence was incredible as well.

Neil Salsich - Takin' it to the Streets - 8

There wasn't anything wrong with this performance, but I guess I wanted a bit more??? He has stage presence for days though.

Ross Clayton - Dirty Work - 8

I dig his twang. The transition to that note was great as well. I think he's really underrated.

Sorelle - Blame It On the Boogie - 9.75

Other than those shaky head voice notes (I think there were 2 of them), this performance sounded perfect to me. Love their sister harmonies. I like them individually as well. Ana and Bella gave incredible performances in blinds and battles respectively, so in this performance I had the most expectations from Madi, and I have to say, she didn't disappoint. The way she opened the song, and worked the stage, it was really nice to see.

Holly Brand - Blue Moon Of Kentucky - 9

I think her opening and ending were Fantastic. Wasn't crazy about The middle part though, but yodels were great. Her tone is very rich, and it really shined in this performance.

Rachel Christine - Rhiannon - 8

Not bad, but I don't know why, I didn't like it as much as I wanted to.
