m1key Posted April 22, 2023 Share Posted April 22, 2023 Hmmm I actually don't think Hannah and Mariah are dead on arrival/fodder. If they both give weak performances again, then sure. However, if they are both at their best, I can see them becoming contenders for the public vote or wildcard spots. It is based on the musical, Dreamgirls, which stars Sheryl Lee Ralph (as Deena) and Jennifer Holiday (as Effie), which played on Broadway, I think back in 1987.
