"With a resume of experience dating back to a very young age, Lauren has developed
into a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and performer. Originally from Gaylord,
Michigan, she has been performing in front of audiences since the age of 9, where
she took runner-up at the Colgate Country Showdown. This led to many years of
touring Michigan with a band performing classic country hits. Those shows allowed
her the opportunity to open for acts including: Lonestar, Randy Travis, Confederate
Railroad, and Bill Anderson. She began songwriting in middle school after getting
her first guitar. YouTube became a platform for Lauren to reach people worldwide.
Her original material and covers have gained her over a million views on multiple
performances. Later as a student at the University of Michigan, Lauren focused
more on songwriting but kept up with local performances opening for Gloriana and
Thompson Square. After graduating, she continued her growth in the Chicago music
scene writing original and commercial material. Nashville became home in early
2014, where she hit the ground running with songwriters such as Bill Luther (Tim
McGraw), and crafting a group of songs that she considers her best work to date.
Lauren’s heartfelt songwriting, along with her sultry, yet powerful vocals, leave
listeners wanting more."

"At a young age, Lauren entered many karaoke competitions,
leading to several years of touring Michigan and performing classic country hits
with JR Country Band. They opened for Lonestar, Randy Travis and Bill Anderson.
From age 12 through college, she gave up on music to focus on becoming a dentist.
She met independent filmmaking couple Ann Gillis and husband Marvin, and they
encouraged her to move to Nashville, taking Lauren under their wing. After Ann was
diagnosed with ALS, Lauren felt the need to give back to her by becoming
her full-time caretaker."

That’s a really good song. I could do without the toilet flush and the conversation about the smelly bathroom at the end, in the studio, though. It literally has nothing to do with the story she’s telling in the song. Is this a new trend, or is she trying to start one?

BTW, I prefer the singer/songwriter version of Lauren to the one who the Nashville producers were trying to mold into something she’s not. This is her lane.

I just happened to notice this new song when I was looking through the Itunes Top 1500 chart on Kworb. I really like the sound and production.

BTW, I just noticed I never asked to be added yet haha. So could you please add me?
