5. Maddi. Sometimes, I enjoy her, sometimes, I don't.

4. Asher. I don't like some of the choices he makes, but overall I enjoy his performances a lot.

3. Karen. Solid performances all the way through. I just want her to take it to the next level.

2. Bryan. Incredible first 3 performances. Incredible vocalist. But his last performance wasn't it. He needs to pick better songs. Or maybe Tptb internationally won't give him better songs because Nathan is their boy this season, and they don't want Bryan to outshine him?

1. Madison. I'll be honest, I wasn't paying attention to her. I didn't even watch her audition when it aired. But now that I've watched all of her performances I can say that she had 4 Incredible performances. The best thing is that she's getting better each week. One of the most consistent performers of this season. I thought her audition was good. I really liked her battle. I absofreakinlutely loved her PO and Top 12 performances.

1. Karen Waldrup - She's my personal favorite because I've been a huge fan of hers before The Voice. She's been flawless and perfect all the way through, and I love her song choices.

 

2. Asher HaVon - He's the best vocalist this season. He has been flawless the whole season. I love his song choices as well. He's always choosing songs that I would pick for him.

 

3. Nathan Chester - He's also the best vocalist this season and very entertaining. He's also excellent at connecting with viewers. I always connect with him and dance with him. I could never do that split. If I tried, I'd be at the hospital.

 

4. Madison Curbelo - She is always fantastic and picks the right songs to connect with the audience. She deserves the finale. If she continues staying strategic with her song choices, she could make the finale. 

 

5. Maddi Jane - I really love her tone and she's been great all season so far. If she goes back to her playoff level, she could sneak into the finale. She knows how to connect when it comes to ballads. She should stay away from rap songs and save it for finale. 

 

6. Bryan Olesen - He's a fantastic rock singer and knows how to put on a show. While he did great last night, he still wasn't at his best and had some stumbles in the song. He needs to stay away from the big songs like Queen to stay in the game. His song choices also needs to be better or he won't connect with voters.

 

7. Josh Sanders - Great country dude and the best male country singer I've heard on The Voice. He knows how to connect with his fans. His song choices seems to be holding him back. I don't see Reba backing him up to be her favorite or being majority's favorite.

 

8. Serenity Arce - I love her beautiful tone but I want to hear something fun from her. She can't always do ballads. She also needs to find a way to connect with viewers in order to make the finale.

 

9. Tae Lewis - He's a great singer who has tons of energy and knows how to put on a show. I want to hear something emotional from him for once since he isn't connecting. I want to connect with him emotionally.

It’s hard cause I enjoy each of them to some extent but my favs of the top 9 are Tae and Nathan and Bryan and Maddi. I did enjoy Josh’s top 12 performance , Asher is a force to be reckoned with, and Madison’s tone is amazing. Karen and Serenity are good singers.

1. Asher

 Shown that he can do almost anything vocally. Easily the best, most exciting vocalist of the season. Only criticism I have is a lack of emotion from his performances due to his vocal choices feeling "showy" at times rather than in service of the song.

 

2. Nathan 

Best performer of the season, hasn't missed vocally. Just the right amount of smooth and powerful. Don't really have any criticisms.

 

3. Madison

Also hasn't had an off performance (or note) just like the above 2. Always delivers a sincere, gorgeous vocal. Lower because a missed KO.

 

4. Tae

Excellent belting, agility and breath control. Kills upbeat, wordy songs in a way I haven't seen anyone else do so far in the comp. Low register is noticeably weaker though and has been a bit exposed in the lives so far.

 

5. Josh

Pretty powerful country singer with a lot of grit and a tinge of soul and southern rock. Lacking a bit of precision like in his top 12 and audition, but pretty nitpicky.

 

6. Bryan

That last performance dropped him from my top 3 all the way to 6th place. But his first 3 performances are undeniably some of the best performances in the competition, so he can't be too low. Probably the best belter remaining, and has an interesting tone.

 

6. Karen

Arguably the best female singer left, powerful belter and can sell the emotion of a song. Her KO and battle were top tier performances. But her audition was a fine but forgettable performance. Playoffs and lives were a just a tad underwhelming and inconsistent.

 

8. Maddi

Like Karen, very hit or miss for me. But the misses are worse. KO and top 12 were not it to say the least. But her audition, battle and playoffs were some of the best in their respective rounds imo. She has a lot of great tools though. Excellent stage presence, gorgeous headvoice and showed some very good belting and agility in the prelives.  Hopefully puts it together

 

 

9. Serenity.

I actually think she's consistently delivered emotive performances, probably more so than anyone else. Her KO and audition were solid. Problem is, every other performance hasn't been, and she clearly has the weakest, vocal ability of everyone remaining.

 

 

Everyone from 2 to 6 moved up just cause of Bryan's flop performance.

1. Madison: she had another "moment". Another one of these and she secures a spot on the Top 3. 

2. Karen: she has been consistent, but unlike Madison, there haven't been really a "moment" since her KO. She needs to step it up.

3. Nathan: Great vocalist and performer. He nailed his last performance. 

4. Asher: just like Nathan, he is a great vocalist and very consistent as well. These two kind of carried the whole night along with Madison (and to a lesser extent, Karen and Josh) 

5. Maddi: her last performance was decent but i appreciate the risk she took. She has potential to give a great performance next week so i'm glad she advances 

6. Bryan: Crashed and burned in his first live performance but i think he can still recovers. Man can definitely sing, just needs better song choices.

7. Josh: Solid vocalist, and i enjoyed his last performance, it was nice to listen him performing something more emotional. 

8. Tae: his song choices are not working for me. 

9. Serenity: the weakest of the Top 9.
