They are impossible to predict, which makes it hard to prevent. Depending on the severity of the injury and the rules at the beginning of a season, we have seen a wide range of results after a contestant gets injured. Sometimes they are fine to dance the next week, sometimes they are out of the season even though they were the frontrunner, sometimes they come back the next season (if the show isn't cancelled). Sometimes the judges save the dancer, sometimes the voting public saves the dancer, and sometimes Twitter saves the dancer. For this cycle, we have invited Doriana Sanchez and Nakul Dev Mahajan to create some duet routines . It is up to the judges who will avoid being assigned those choreographers. Every ranker must choose three couples to be safe from whatever disco bollywood explosion is being created. The rankers must post their three saves by the deadlines in this order: JC is up first and he has 18 hours to post the three couples he wants to be safe. Once his saves are posted, the next person on the list has 18 hours to post their three saves, and so on. 1. JC 2. Megan 3. Zoey 4. Rei 5. @*Amanda 6. @sublymonal 7. Diana 8. Elliott DON'T MAKE ME WAIT FOREVER! If you already know your saves and don't need to see anyone else's choices, YOU MAY POST YOUR THREE SAVES AT ANY TIME BEFORE YOUR TURN. That will make the list shorter and move this along. Once all the saves have been made, there will be 12 dancers remaining. When we have our final 12 dancers, everyone has 24 hours to make one cut from the list. I would suggest making deals, but it seems that ship has sailed.
