His voice seemed shot that week (I believe I read that he said he was sick). So props to him for not backing down, but yeah, those weren't his finest moments on the show. Her battle showed versatility, but her audition was just kind of ehh for me. Before this performance he was top 3 in terms of consistency. John Holiday - Halo Really showed the lack of power from his belts here, especially during the more uptempo parts. Even some of the runs he pulled off weren't executed smoothly. Surprisingly, his lower register was the best part of the performance. Kyla Jade - This is me Should have been a killer powerhouse performance. Instead, it was underwhelming in the power department and one of the only times she goes off pitch during the competition. I get that she got emotional though. It's definitely not bad but it's the most dissappointing one on here. Shawn Sounds- That's what I like. Dude was a 8 or 9 out of 10 in terms of smooth vocals in every performance other than his cross battles, and this was a 4 or 5. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
