I think knowing the Kardashian’s its pretty easy to see why I would cut him. He was a lot better dancer than I’d like to admit and much better than his sister (LMAO) BUT he wasn’t iconic or anything and his shitty behavior will make me cut him over some of the worse dancers that are nominated. He posted revenge porn, his family posts messy ass posts all the time, he uses his daughter like his ex for his gain and they are both beyond trash. I feel the kids. He can keep traveling during the pandemic and brag about it on SM with his garbage sisters but I am not going to keep him on this rankdown anymore. Also y'all are so petty, he won S25 last time and that's not happening again. No ma'am. Malcolm in the Middle is one of my all-time favorite tv shows so I was thrilled to see Frankie on DWTS. He would've made for a fun midseason nostalgic fave. But instead he made the finals and robbed Vanessa and Nikki. I feel like there's not enough backlash towards Frankie making the end, there should be more! I think it's because Drew Scott existed and he was actively worse, but Frankie deserves some backlash as well! Frankie's most iconic dances are his Contemporary and Argentine Tango, both of which got way overscored and way too much hype. Frankie's acting was not very good in the Contemporary at all, a dance that required great acting, and really Witney did most of the dancing around him. I do prefer his Argentine Tango, and while it's great, it's not fantastic or anything. Frankly, Jordan Fisher's worst dance of the season was better than anything Frankie danced. I will wait for the day where Jane Kaczmarek does the show and if Frankie endorses her maybe I will stan. But until then, I am not a fan. *Wallace Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 Margaret Cho Its interesting with Amanda noms here, as these are mostly contestants I would rather cut than save - and the two I wanted to save, got cut right away. :see no evil monkey: Oh well, thankfully neither were actual big time faves of mine (and moreso underdog type faves), so I’m not upset. I do think of the rest of the nominees that Margaret is one of the more fair cut options here, so that’s the route I’m going here. Margaret Cho is a comedian, who competed on Dancing with the Stars Season 11 and was partnered with Louis van Amstel. Margaret & Louis lasted 3 weeks and finished at 10th place this season. Now I am a fan of Margaret’s and like her outside of DWTS, I remember she had a sitcom show i liked way back in the day. But sadly, I wasn’t really much of a fan of her DWTS run. She danced three dances which were: a Viennese Waltz to “We Are the Champions” scoring a 15, a Jive to “Dreaming” scoring an 18 and a Samba to “Love is In the Air” scoring an 18. Her Viennese Waltz was one of the weirdest VWs I’ve ever seen and I remember the concept of it going so terribly wrong, which was unfortunate. Her Samba was too good on a technical level but it did provide a great message to it (I’m sure it was a symbolism for LGBTQ love & pride). I did think her Jive was her best dance - she had some fun with it although seemed a bit in her head with the performing. One thing I think I remember was wishing she had more fun on her time on the show, as she is really fun outside of the show but it didn’t show that well on the show. Which is understandable, as she was really out of her element here. I was ultimately okay with Margaret going when she did. I will link her Jive as that was my favorite dance of hers, so enjoy! *Lily Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 Betsey Johnson I enjoy Betsey making it this far and she was fun on the show but this is time to cut her, if only so we have one lolworthy Season 19 person left in which can be Lolo. I am also too lazy to do a Drew Scott writeup now, honestly. Betsey was a fun and inspired casting on the show. A woman in her 70s who was still so active and had such a joy about her doing the show (I’m reading this back now and it sounds like I’m dragging older women. I’m not, because I’m endorsing Patti LaBelle to win this rankdown). Also cool to have a fashion designer on the show. I liked her partnership with Tony, even if it was another token ‘older woman’ for him. Anyway, I found all of Betsey’s dances to be fun and entertaining. Even when she messed up, she didn’t let it affect her. Honestly some inspired older castings this season (robbed king Tommy Chong!) and I enjoyed watching her every week.
