We used to get gets like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Fantasia, Ruben Studdard, Vonzell Solomon, Bo Bice, Tamyra Gray, LaToya London, Jennifer Hudson, The Davids, etc... Now we get this. Regardless of whether they have a ring of light or one hundred studio lights and an interactive screen behind them - I don’t think one person from this years top twenty would give a performance of the standard we used to get. That's what happens when the judges blow smoke up their asses from their very first audition and never change their praise. There's no critiques or constructive advice being given, so they don't bother taking risks or chances with their song selections. And with the elimination format looking more and more like The Virus every season, it ruins any sort of growth the contestants could undergo. The other one was moved to Games, and so the owner of that one complained and asked why this wasn't also in Games.
