The next lowest-placing finalists were Giselle in cycle 1 and Lisa in cycle 5 (who both placed 6th originally). EDIT: I guess Giselle actually is the first contestant to make the finale who didn't originally place overseas, since only 5 went to Paris in cycle 1. Still, Matthew is the first finalist to place lower than 6th in their original cycle (he was 10th... wtf). She's my clear favorite this cycle, but I will admit that her hair is doing a lot of the work in some shots. Maybe she should have waited to audition for Cycle 24 where having hair was the only thing you needed to win lolol I would say let's do Cycle 24, but we just did a late cycle.
