*Lily Posted January 17, 2022 Share Posted January 17, 2022 Ariel Versace Ariel tried so hard to make her catchphrase 'a thing' and I guess it worked because I still think of that nasally 'nyassss' whenever I see her. I don't really dislike her I guess but Season 11 had its fair share of fodder and Ariel was definitely one of those. Felt like she really wanted to be the villain or the drama but was just not able to give us much in such a large cast. I don't remember much of what she brought to the competition whatsoever other than when she fell over in the lip-sync and Ru gave us the Drag Race equivalent of this moment: I'm not crazy about Aiden either but I guess there's some recency bias there from S12 being a great season and Aiden having some ok underdog moments. jarmon Posted January 17, 2022 Share Posted January 17, 2022 (edited) Kalorie Karbdashian Williams (Season 10, 13th Place) She competed on the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race where she placed 13th. Kalorie was actually a rather sweet queen and represented the thick & juicy queens. Unfortunately, her run was cut short as she never really found her footing in the competition and was in the bottom 2 for 2 weeks in a row. The first time she was up against Miss Vanjie and sent her packing BUT I guess we should thank her for that? Because if she didn't slay that lip sync then we would've never gotten the iconic "Miss Vanjie, Vanjie, Vanjie" line so thank you, Kalorie. Kalorie then landed in the bottom again in week 2 against Eureka and were lip syncing to "Best of My Love" which ultimately got her to shantay away. And now she shall sashay, away from this rankdown. Why are we nominating Kandy Ho like she’s fodder? She gave us three fantastic lip-syncs whilst queens like Kasha, Fame and Max are left safe.. no ma’am. Sasha was very middle of the road. She didn’t wow in any aspect of the show and she didn’t last long because of it. I’m still confused how she was even safe during the first episode. They were the bottom two for the Ballet challenge on Season 5 and we’re both told to Sashay Away after turning out a disrespectful lipsync to Britney’s “Oops… I Did It Again”. I don’t think any of us disagree with Ru’s decision to eliminate both of them at 10th/11th and since they both had the same track record up to that point (safe all three of the previous weeks) that made it hard to choose one of them to save here, but I chose Honey because of her political career and because The Vivienne is no longer doing drag. According to Wikipedia, Vivienne is now a wigstylist and owns a wig business called FairyTale Wigs, which mostly focuses on wigs for cosplayers, specialising in Disney Princess Wigs so, good her. I’ve never really been a fan of hers so I’m taking the opportunity to cut her here before someone saves her. I’m still not sure how she outlasted other queens that season like Ongina and Shannel but I’d rather she not outlast them in this Rankdown. Rebecca was in the bottom two twice that season, beating Jade and Shannel in lipsyncs. She also won the makeover challenge during the season. She would not have been my pick to win that challenge however. Since the show, she’s stopped doing Drag and, instead is competing in other pageants, like Mr. Stonewall, which he won in 2021. #jeah Posted January 18, 2022 Share Posted January 18, 2022 NINA WEST (Season 11) I'm not sure where people generally stand on Nina anymore, and I'm sorry if anyone here is a big fan, but I've never really cared for her Even when Season 11 aired and she was one of the most popular contestants while it was airing...I tried so hard to like her but I didn't really "get" her. Something about Nina creeps me out and I'm not sure why lol. Nina West is the Miss Congeniality and 6th place contestant on Season 11. She is someone who is "good" at Drag Race- she can do improv, comedy, turns looks out on the runway, etc. Therefore Nina had a very successful run during her season. She won a couple of challenges. I think one was that Diva Worship challenge? I don't remember the other one. One thing I do really respect Nina for is her advocacy and political involvement, and she has been established in the world of drag for a long time. I also do think she had some nice looks. But she was one of those queens that I never truly found funny or truly connected with, so I am taking the opportunity to cut her here. Saving: Tina Burner, who was really unpopular during her run (with myself included), but I've kind of grown to appreciate her? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Serena Chacha has competed in drag race twice, and has lasted a total of three weeks. In season 5 she was like 21, and pretty inexperienced. She did that weird visual art thing for her design challenge, and landed in the bottom. She landed in the bottom the next week during the lipsyncing of untucked moments. Monica sent her home. For some reason Ru decided we needed more Serena and brought her back for All-Stars 6. She had some glow up but mostly was still be. She was sent home week 1 after failing her jig dance talent show performance. Trinity saved us from a season of Serena. She did okay against Jiggly in the redemption lip sync, so i will give her that, but not good enough. Sorry @FrogLenzen, i know she is yours and Mama Lenzen favorite!
