Winner Announcement

Two stunningly beautiful and talented models stand before me, but only one of you can win.

Anya, we knew you'd be a strong competitor from the beginning, and you proved us right, earning two best photos in a row at the very start. Despite having some weaker weeks along the way, you never really ran out of steam, taking some of the strongest pictures of the entire cycle. You weren't necessarily the strongest in every area of modeling, but you blew us away more often than anyone else. Overall, we love your bubbly, exuberant personality, and we see a lot of potential in you to succeed.

Katarzyna, you had a strong start as well, but it was the middle of the competition where you started to hit more of your stride. Your highs overall were not as high as Anya's, but you proved throughout the cycle that you were definitely the most well-rounded model of the bunch; you have a killer walk, you can present a product well, and you can take a great picture. Overall, we love your eloquence and maturity, and we don't doubt that just like Anya, you have a great career ahead of you.

Fun Fact: Even though Katarzyna won 10-6, Anya was only one vote away from winning. If she had won the "winner pick" part of the portfolio battle, she would have won 9-7. Nonetheless, this was a very deserving final 2; between the two of them, there was only one week where one of them landed outside the top 4 in week to week callouts (Katarzyna in week 2).

 

As a whole, I think we ran this cycle a lot better than the real one went, haha. I like that we gave contestants like Kimberly and Aimee much longer runs. I do think we let Whitney go a few weeks too soon, but at the same time, meh.
